Cons -
- Entrance very confusing as I approached from the beach, (wanted to see the water first) rather than the street. Wandered through various dead-end, empty corridors. Had to exit, walk around to the front, take the elevator to the 2nd floor (which is actually the 4th floor). Note—The building had signs for both Hotel Metropolis (large) and Monbijou (not as large).

The staff were so friendly, the room extremely well furnished (also with tea and coffee-making facilities), very very clean. Excellent breakfast and perfect location.

This hotel is an exceptional find! It is so close to the beach, shopping and restaurants...everything. The single room was just perfect and the cleanliness and decor were terrific. It was definitely exceeded my expectations. The staff were SUPER!
absolutely perfect location - North Sea at arm's length !!! just 4 minutes walk to main street of Westerland ! Room in classic style 100 % clean -very comfy bed - delicious breakfast and last, but not least, very helpful and friendly staff !
