Mimosa Suites

It was a very pleasant stay. Rooms are spacious and have everything you might need, the sauna on the top floor is outstanding. Can’t wait to return.

Our check-in experience was awful. We arrived on time but never received the access code. When we asked for help at reception, the staff was incredibly rude and dismissive. No attempt was made to verify our booking or assist us in any way. This unprofessional behavior ruined the start of our stay. We expect basic courtesy and support as guests. Definitely not a place we would recommend to others. Very disappointing.

We didn't receive any information about check in and it took us some time on the cold wind to find out how to get inside the hotel

No cleaning service, ran out of toilet paper and coffee pods, no towels exchange !

Location was excellent. Reasonable cost for space and facilities.

Advised keybox number was wrong and it took some time to enter in the room.It would have been better if an electric kettle had been equiped.

The apartment was good. Well laid out, well equipped, clean and comfortable.

The check in process was terrible. The self-service device did not work, I was not sent a code to make it work, and it took a dozen phone calls before we got a response. We then waited for over an hour in the rain for someone to show up and he was not apologetic, but arrogant and irritated that we bothered him. Not only did he not apologize for anything, he told us it was our fault. A beginning that soured the entire stay.

Room was spacious.

The stuff wasn’t helpful. I booked with breakfast included and when we arrived we were informed they didn’t offer breakfast. We didn’t receive any kind of recompense.

Beautifully furnished, awesome location close to multiple beach entrances as well as public transport. Super detail oriented, they also provide towels for the beach :)

I came across a couple hairs that weren't mine on the couch. But besides that, it was quite clean as far as I could tell.

Excellent location, we could walk from the airport. Clean new facilities and furnishings.

No light in the kitchen. We had to ask several times on the phone and via email for the access codes

We were staying in Mimosa for the third time. Our stay was excellent as always. We will definitely recommend Mimosa for stays on Sylt.

Easy contactless check in and check out. Beautiful design and very comfy bed and shower. Friendly and helpful staff. And the beach is only three blocks away.

I liked the room and the location. The room was large, with sofas. It had a mini kitchen and a nice bathroom. The bed was very comfy. The building was very good located, really closed to the beach area.

We didn't have air conditioning. It didn't work. It was very hot that day outside and the room was located on the souterrain. It reached 28 °C, so we couldn't stay there the afternoon, as it was too hot.

Humanless checkin and checkout; nobody to interact with; 24h sauna which you need just switch on.

The room is spacious and very comfortable and everything in it, from the soap, shampoo and body moisturizer to the towels and bed sheets are of very good quality.The room was always very clean, and the staff was polite and always helpful. The kitchen had everything you need for a quick meal.The hotel also has a small sauna, which served well for us to relax after a day at the beach.

I would not write any bad reviews, since I really like my stay.The only thing I would change in the room is the small light on the Air Condition that keeps blinking the entire night, and I missed some blackouts on the windows to make the room darker in the morning.

they could have use the vacuum cleaner every 2-3 days. it was not use at all, we had lot of dust.

The location was good although we didn’t use Westerland at all. Lovely, light, clean room with great facilities, small kitchenette and well equipped bathroom.

It was very hot and we couldn’t get the a/c to work. The hotel folder said there was an instruction leaflet but we couldn’t find it. There could have been a mention about bike racks which are behind the building. No staff on site in the evenings to ask.

Location near beach. Modern bathroom and appliances. Friendly staff.

The air conditioner/heater was disconnected. The room-safe battery failed so we couldn’t secure our valuables. The beds were made after our first night but the wet towels we had used were not replaced. The bedsheets felt sandy. There was leftover trash in the wastebasket from former guests. The complimentary bathrobes showed signs of not having been properly washed.
