Best Western Hotel Brunnenhof

I was looking for a hotel not far from a highway and this one looked like a good option for me. And I am satisfied that I made this choice. Staff was helpful and friendly, my room was convenient, clean; the hotel provides enough parking spaces. Breakfast was excellent.

Basically, nothing really serious to mention from my point of view.

Nice modern hotel, great bathroom, good bed, nice room, excellent internet. Nice balcony with view on large garden. Breakfast was fine.Close the the A3 (you van hear the motorway) , great for a stop for the night. Plenty parking space, elevator to upper rooms.

Due to a 'barbecue fest' the restaurant was unavailable in the evening, we were sent away. Even the reception on check-in did not know that. No information about this on forehand! Luckily the festivities were finished at 23:00.Luckily a few steps away an excellent Hotel Restaurant Jagerhof served us a very good meal.

Very nice and cured hotel, extremely clean and with spaciois family room, equipped with kettle and coffee machine. The staff is very professional and polite. There is an amazing garden with a private playground, ideal for my kids to discharge after few hours of car trip. Despite the close proximity to the highway, the location is extremely quiet. The hotel restaurant provides a good selection of typical dishes, as well as a decent kids menu. We will definitely be back.

The only elevator is extremely small, it may require multiple trips to move the luggages if you travel with 2 small kids like we did.

We came here a few times in the past 8 years and wouldn't go anywhere else.

They made me pay double. After 1,5 month still no action from the hotel. No answers to my questions. Very dissapointing.

Food was great (lots to choose from), room was nice, bit small for family but manageable for 1 night. Service is great, facilities also. Great you can charge the car at the supercharger.

Only thing is noisy, you do hear everything from the hallway.

It’s a very beautiful location, the garden is amazing, especially in the snow. Very close to superchargers and conveniently located to the autobahn.

Upon arrival we were greeted by a very young girl, seemingly a student, at reception. We had to prepay the room as she explained due to a new policy.We got room 203 which was really old and damp. The bathroom was not cleaned at all, as someone else’s fecal matter was all over the toilet. On the seat, too. Very visibly, not something that is easily missed.We were relocated to room 103 which was somewhat refurbished and finally clean. However, even after specifically asked, it was not set up for 3 people. The girl from reception arrived and explained about the sofa bed, which my husband needed to open. She also did not think we needed pillows and blankets for our 6 year old kid, but upon asking, she quickly returned with some bedding so we were able to make a bed for our kid (which was set up in the previous room).We did not encounter any senior staff, apart from the one non-student waiter in the restaurant. He was nice and did his best.In the morning the cleaning staff knocked on the door multiple times before 9:30, even though we had a do not disturb sign out. Food is okay, nothing amazing but not bad. Common areas seem to have been redecorated. Certainly not worth the 200 eur price tag for the night. Shame, because it could be a superb place.

Food is mediocre and restaurant staff needs to be nicer and more engaging. Bathroom was not clean, lots of dust and mold in kit. Room had bad ventilation.

parking was full, but lot of parking spots for electric cars were still available.

I missed an easy chair

A gem of a hotel, family run and very friendly. Food is first class and the breakfast buffet is amazing! For those with EV’s there are 16 Tesla V3 chargers on the premises. There is also plenty of safe parking.

Cost of food at the restaurant

The staff was friendly and helpful. They allowed us to check in early. We had a spacious family room with comfortable beds. The bathroom was updated and it was easily accessible with an elevator. The view was beautiful towards the backyard. The breakfast buffet had everything you could wish for and more.

Everything was good but in the warmer summer months a ventilator for the upstairs rooms would be appreciated. It was quite sticky and warm in our room but luckily it cooled down enough at night that we could air it out. I will add that we only stayed for one night and did not ask for a fan.
