This 3-star superior hotel enjoys a quiet yet central location right on the banks of Lake Lucerne in Weggis. Newly renovated in 2014, it offers a panoramic outdoor pool and provides lake and mountain views from most rooms. Free WiFi is available. Fine Swiss and international cuisine can be enjoyed in the restaurant, in the winter garden or on the garden terrace of the Hotel Central Am See. From the garden with the heated swimming pool, sun loungers and the hotel's own boat moorings, you have direct access to the lake.

Pros +
- The direct access to the lake is 10/10. The infinity pool is impressive. Weggis is the nicest holiday village in Switzerland during summer.
- the minute we arrived and walked into the room, it was amazing, the view incredible over the water and the pool, smaller than we thought -w as perfect anyway as right on the edge and we spent most of the time in the lake. Lovely hotel and setting.

Cons -
- Breakfast was not as nice as it was in the past. It was made very clear by the personnel that they really didn't want to serve anything from the restaurant to the hotel guests enjoying the sunny day in the pool area/ garden. We had to go to the restaurant to order, wait very long time for someone to take our orders and eventually pick-up our orders. This made us feel very unwelcome as we felt like nuisance to the personnel not like guests.
- aircon would have been nice or a fan. plastic water bottles for by the pool
- No real lounge. Poor parking arrangement Lack of inlets for charging
