WAGNERS Hotel im Fichtelgebirge

We stayed at this hotel with our family during Christmas and had a wonderful experience. The atmosphere was very cozy and welcoming, which made our holiday truly special. We especially appreciated the access to the swimming pool and the SPA facilities — everything was clean, relaxing, and well organized.The hotel itself is very beautiful, and the location is simply perfect. It’s a great place to relax, unwind, and enjoy quality time with family. We would definitely love to come back and highly recommend this hotel.

We arrived on Nikolaus afternoon and were left the keys for selfcheckin, everything was very smooth, the rooms were warm, the pool and sauna were great and open till late. We were happy for the indoor playground for pur 13 months old, is not very big but enough and much more then hotels in big cities that call themselves family hotels. It was super peacefull, soundproof and delicious clasic breakfast. The service was also friendly.

All was perfect.

Beautifully property, brings back memories of vacations past with its retro feel, very comfy beds! I hope to return.

No complaints. I would vote for a hot meat at breakfast (bacon, ham, sausage), but I was very satisfied anyway.

Breakfast was basic but very tasty. Nothing to complaign

The shower was dirty and the hotel was very old-fashioned. Water in the swimming pool was quite cold. The reception was not working after 6 p.m. so that after arival there was no personel to talk to. There was a dinner menu listed in the hall, still no info if the restaurant is working and where. Two high price for the toral service.

We booked a night at this hotel due to it's location in a nice cycling/running area, action on sustainability and relatively cheap prices. However, the hotel itself provided much more, offering a big enough pool to train in, a big enough sauna to share with strangers and a solid breakfast to start another active day. Highly recommended ?

Not much really, maybe with the exception of allowing smoking at the balcony of non-smoking rooms, which meant that even these rooms needed to be aired before brought into use.

I liked the host and the facilities. Simple and comfortable.. Pool always open. The interior is old school but we loved it. Best money I spent on a hotel. Thanks guys

Only one thing. Table tennis table needs updating and the rackets as well. But we are semi pros ?

Nice sauna and swimming pool. Breakfast included and tasty. Beautiful surroundings, especially in winter. Clean.

Not sure if it was fault of Booking.com or the hotel, the final payment was 6 euros per night more because of the tax. In booking though was stated, that all the taxes and fees re included.

Breakfast was good. The breakfast location is the only renovated area in the hotel and therefore really nice and friendly looking. Breakfast is good - everything one needs.The pools was nice.The owner seems to handle everything more or less alone - if you need anything - he will take care of it.It is only 300m to the lift and some restaurants.

The rooms are very old fashioned - looking as if nothing has ever been changed since they were build. It smelled a bit funny of dust and very old smoke. The carpet on the floor was hmmm.... not really inviting. The owner though said, they'll renovate everything bit by bit.The sauna has 2 chairs to relax - no more room for a third person.

they advertised with a playground and a resturant on site and both of those were not available.

Staff very friendly and welcoming. Plenty of activities to do on rainy days. Not far from nice restaurant. Good parking area.

Sunbathing chairs not maintained. Windows not maintained. (Carpenters point of view) Big open grass area with no playground.

We felt like at home due to your waitress's (Stana) hospitality during the breakfast. :-)
