Pros +
- Traditional, family owned, simple and a one off. Cosy, nice continental breakfast with locally made local jams. Proprietors Hans and Christine are friendly and welcoming.
- Really friendly and helpful owner, comfy bed
- French breakfast, basic but fresh and on time. Secure parking overnight - owner closes and locks gate to enclosed courtyard parking so it would suit some travelers and perhaps motorcyclists. Central, not far from highway and not in any French clean air zone. Owner speaks decent English and very helpful.
Cons -
- Nothing to dislike.
- All good, value for money
- No dinner service at hotel so eating out required, which is limited in the town as it is small. However we were lucky as there was a 'family friendly' beer festival when we stayed in the town (Aug 2024) and so we grabbed something there

Good value evening mealFree secure parking onsite
Bedroom rather simply furnished (we were told that the sofa had been damaged by previous guests and removed for repairs). Need to remember this is a simple village 2* pension.
Nice location in a small, beautiful town.
Strange smell in the room, maybe desinfectants or maybe the plastic floor
A warm welcome from a hotelier who knows how to manage a hotel. It’s a 2-star hotel so celebrate it for what it is not what it lacks compared to 3- and 4-star establishments. First class cleanliness. Delicious homemade food, especially the jam at breakfast.
For a 2-star hotel it would be hard to find fault.
Clean, homely & comfortable room (and bathroom). Hans is a very, sociable and welcoming proprietor. Easy parking and central location. Super food. Special note - dinner is available on request (at a fixed price) if you give at least a day’s notice. We did this (everything was closed after new year) and we had a convenient and very nice meal in the hotel. We will love to visit again.
Everything was nice.
Host was very friendly and the location was excellent (easy walking distance to town centre and restaurants)
Quite location.
Too expensive for this old room. Horrible floor and bathroom. No ventilation at all in the room, the window was to a inside closed yard. The parking is closed from 10pm till 8am.
Quiet, location good for us, good restaurants close! Very helpful friendly staff!
The hotel was in a quiet position but easy to find and close to the town square and restaurants. Our host Hans give us helpful advice about places to eat out.
Check in time was limited to between 5 and 8pm. Our room was two flights up a very long and winding staircase at the top of the building and unfortunately there was no lift - not easy to manage with heavy suitcases and/or bad joints. The room decor was in need of updating and modernisation especially the bathroom. The towels offered were three hand towels - we could not be bothered to descend the 2 flights of stairs down to ask for bath towels as we were only staying one night.
Had a quiet room with aircon got a great sleep
Maybe a couple more electrical power would be great
Friendly and helpfull host..I forgot my Tablett and was contacted direktly. Top.
Bad
check in time 17:00 -> 20:00 means that you have only 3 hours for enter. We arrived at 22:00 and no one was waiting us! We sent an email to the owner but nobody ansewer and at the end THEY STEALT US THE MONEY.THE WORSE EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE
Owner very welcoming and helpful. Beds clean and air con working well.Nice airing and fans in breakfast room
Hard to air bedrooms in heat so recycled airNeeds updating and staircase a challenge for elderly.
I like the owner, he is nice to talk with.
Bathroom smelled very badly.
Location, easy to go to.
Very outdated.
Really friendly, helpful owners and a great location
Very nice little hotel beautifully decorated rooms, very authentic
Breakfast was bread and home made jams which were great.
