Very nice staff who always greeted you. The bartenders were the most friendly and always gave you advice on what are the best side quest activities to do. The lovely fruit and wine on arrival was a great surprise.

I did not like the lack of parking - I guess the dirt lot across the street was fine, but i did not feel my car was safe/secure. The entire place was quiet dated, online images were very deceptive. My queen size bed was split into two twins - which i'm told is common...my shower leaked, the Air conditioning was weak and barley worked. Not to mention soooo much dust and generally lack of cleanliness. The all inclusive bit was decent if you enjoy getting drunk everyday (i do not) and the buffet was a little too close to hospital food for my liking. The lack of sun beds was always hilarious....like comon. Go buy more sun beds for your guests wtf lol Absolutely misled regarding the yoga or any other classes that i understood ive already paid for but was told im not allowed. The gym was the size of a broom closet and is better off not existing. There were more issues but why beat a dead horse.

The location was 10/10, fantastic and right on the beach. Also within easy walking distance of many nice restaurants. The staff were also exceptional, going out of their way to respond to small things we brought to their attention and to make sure we were comfortable.

The breakfast buffet could use more variety. It was exactly the same every day. The quality was okay but not exceptional. The property as a whole could use some updating. Things mostly work but it’s clear that the hotel could use some renovations.

At check in the front desk complimentary offered to move my dad closer to my room and upgraded us to full board. The staff is exceptionally personable, takes good care of the property, and the food options were expansive. The pool with swim up bar was fun.

A lot of run down properties near by, beach was quite rocky Price for the buffet was 30 euros per person which we found very expensive for a buffet,however there were very nice restaurants much cheaper and better food within walking distance

Overall, everything was excellent. The food was delicious, and the area is great for walks. Canya is nearby, making access easy. Andreas at the pool bar ensures that you have a great time. His attitude and expertise are top-notch, and anyone served by him is lucky.

The hotel is amazing! Right by the beach, really nice pools and amazing staff. The food was great and varied.

Quiet location but easy to get from Chania, and great staff. Room was spacious, and easy access to the beach from the hotel. Great stay for a few relaxing days !

A bit of inconsistencies in the quality of the drinks/cocktails and the food (we were not impressed by the a la carte restaurant)

The closeness to the private beach, the weather, the cleanliness and the food were very good. Personel was helpful and friendly..On the last evening of our stay, we were able to see baby turtles come out from the sand and go into the sea.

There wasn't much to do or see in the village. At the hotel, there could be more entertainment available.

I would have loved to stay in the Giannoulis Bay beach ONLY ADULTS but regarding a problem of air conditioning in several rooms they changed our reservation to their sister hotel Giannoulis Pearl Wing full of kids which I wanted to avoid x.xBut due to this inconvenience they offer us all package included and we really appreciated it!. The buffet was very good, staff very well organized, very kind, good athmosphere, nice beach and swimming pool!.I must stand out the service, attention, hospitality of the staff and receptionist were excellent, very well organized, very kind!! I would specially thank to Amalia which helped us since the beginning of our stay.Thank you so much to reception team for being so nice and kind and for the little present at the end of my stay! ευχαριστώ :)

It was full of kids and guests who didn't respect the fact that they couldnt book the loungers with towels which they always did, even for couple of hours when the swimming pool was empty and probably they were out or eating letting us without space many times.

The property is situated on a lovely beach with clear water for swimming and has the most amazing swimming pool . Beach shoes are recommended as the sand gets very hot ! The staff are very attentive and friendly

The gym was not clean - some of the equipment was broken . There was no sanitizer in order to clean the equipment once used - very disappointed. The a la carte restaurant lacked any style or atmosphere

I booked and paid for this accommodation for my son and daughter in law for their honeymoon because it said it could cater for her dietary needs. She is severe coeliac and diabetic and they could not eat in the hotel even though we had paid for all inclusive. They returned from their honeymoon saying they were very dissappointed in their stay at Giannoulis grand bay resort due to the food and the room was not of a good standard even though we had upgraded them to a swim up room.

The hotel we booked was closed, so we were transferred to another one, "more premium", of the chain.The hotel was old (furniture and comfort), not adults-only as the one we booked, was located in a worse place than the previous one, and the food was average. We had booked a suite facing the ocean and were now facing the swimming pool of the hotel.

Beautiful location, pretty good selection of food. Rooftop restaurant was amazing, very high quality. Staff are exceptional.

Toilet flush was a bit difficult to use but not a huge problem.

All inclusive meals--you cannot beat it!!! The beach is so beautiful (rocky sand, but beautiful) and the food had tons of options, even for people with allergies. Drinks were strong and great.

I wish I had known how far it was from a town...not much to do off property but not really like I wanted to anyway.

Attentive and helpful staff, great breakfast and dinner. Wi-fi was excellent. Our room by the pool was perfect: suite with a comfortable bed and great bathroom. Great housekeeping. I’d definitively stay here again. Live music in the lobby area was a nice touch.

The beach area was untidy: sand had prickly reeds all over the place, deckchairs untidy.

Beautiful location next to the pebble beach. Staff everywhere were brilliant - so friendly and helpful. Good quality buffet style breakfast and dinner provided a range of options, including for vegetarians. It was worth having a car to explore further afield, though.
