    Pros +

    • Beautiful views, lovely staff, and delicious food and drinks poolside.
    • Just a short walk to a beautiful shoreline with plenty of cozy restaurants and other ammenities.
    • I could said that it was really nice. We came late (after check-in time) and they leaved for me envelope with key and instruction where is our room (i loved that). Enough big swimming pool with bar (greetings to Costas - singer). Petfriendly (my dog, breed Border Collie, was welcome) and parking spot in front of the apartmants(i was little scared, but it is really quiet area). Rooms was clean and fresh. Really nice and sure we will be came back in future

    Cons -

    • Shower curtains were a little dirty. Mattresses were on the hard side
    • It is the dirtiest place I've ever been. All mattresses had such a deep sinkhole under the hips that my legs were practically up in the air — completely worn out and sagging. The floor was sticky, the door handles were sticky, and everything just felt extremely old and unclean. The internet is unusable. Even the refrigerator door does not close. To top it off, the electric stove gave me a small shock every time I touched it. A safety hazard. The only redeeming quality was the nice view from the window — but that’s not nearly enough to make up for the rest. This was hands down the worst $140 I’ve ever spent per night. Be aware!
    • There was lot of things but the worst was bathroom (we was just for one night so it doesnt matter too much but still it was bad). Old, smelly and dust full in small ventilator(open alone if you open light). Water was going everywhere even if we try not to. It really, really need to be change. Rooms are old and cold (good that had A/C - without that we could not sleep). View to sea was small but was something (other apartmants with small balconys up hill had much more amazing view (we was in corner). Small kitchen was enough (without kettle and with just 2 forks for 3 people).I could give more down stars, but it was enough and we fell welcome so i dont want to

The bathroom and the kitchen was very dirty and worn. The „clean“ plats and glasses were sticky in the kitchen cabinet. No sponge for washing up. Receptionist on Sunday doesn’t speak english! During the night we had a power failure, the next day nobody was at the reception, we asked the cleaning lady if she can help us. She said the technician is coming in 5min, he arrived in 40min.

It was clean and quiet ! Beautiful view fromBalcony

I had heavy luggage and had to manage alone climbing a lot of stairs - I was lucky / unlucky that I got the top of hill suite - when I arrived there was no one in the reception to help just an envelope with the key. It was very hot outside and the room did not cool down enough - swimming not allowed in the evening

Very nice place, with exceptional view to the sea. Really enjoyed peacefully relaxing by the pool and having an evening drink. I would recommend it, especially for those who plan to visit other villages and places and need a tranquil basis.

I think this hotel is great, with the little steps up to the pool, it's a real little paradise. I also loved the welcome, with a special mention for the receptionist, Adriana, who was exceptionally helpful and kind, helping us throughout our stay. ADRIANA???

Pool and overall outside appearance of place

The apartment n.65. did not meet our expectation, little attention to. Details and overall lack of cure The toilet door.had been painted but. Paint was all over the floor and they had left 2 pieces of cardboard sticking. Under the door. The Wc seat was broken, three rack for wet clothes was broken the kitchen stoves rusty

Very comfortable place, the rooms are spacious, there is an excellent view of the whole area. There is also a very nice catering staff from which you can order food and drinks. Location wise it’s good as well, the beach is a nice ten minute walk from the hotel.

    7SiobhanPosted on: 8-8-2024

Very reasonably priced, in an area close to beach and restaurants. Quite area so not big nightlife options but was perfect for us. Town has lovely restaurants supermarket etc within short walking distance. Very good bus service. The main thing for us was Kostas and Ilana at the pool bar/restaurant- they were exceptional

The apartments definitely need upgrading- the facilities for self catering were not up to standard. Small 2 ring hob - asked for kettle and that was no problem. The fridge definitely needs to be replaced!!! If you’re depending on self catering option you’re very limited. Management should definitely look at providing a microwave at least. Showerhead in the bath faces over the side of the bath so not ideal however the bathroom flooded every time we used the shower - extremely badly on one occasion -we reported it but got no feedback - just someone came in and tried to unblock it - we had to do clean up with towels after every shower. The accommodation itself was basic but price reflected that so I had no issue with that - other than the shower issue. Cleaner came every day - girl was lovely.

the location and the polite staff in the reception.

I recently stayed at this hotel with my family (two kids aged 10 and 7) for three days, and our experience was far below our expectations, especially given the price of approximately €170 per night.1. **Water Issues**: Throughout our stay, we had severe water issues, including having no water at times, which made basic hygiene exceedingly difficult.2. **Air Conditioning Problems**: The first room we were given did not have a functioning air conditioner. Although the staff moved us to another room on the first day, this inconvenience was frustrating.3. **Plumbing Problems**: The second room we were moved to had plumbing issues, adding to our discomfort.4. **Housekeeping Issues**: To our dismay, the housekeeping service did not even wash the dishes.5. **Overall Room Condition**: Both rooms were in poor condition and did not meet basic standards for cleanliness and maintenance.6. **Lack of Basic Amenities**: Inadequate shower facilities made our stay unpleasant, and only upon returning home were we able to take a proper shower. The only positive aspect of our stay was the hotel staff, who were very polite and did their best to manage the issues we faced. However, their efforts could not compensate for the severe maintenance and service shortcomings of the hotel.Given these significant issues, I feel this hotel does not offer good value for money and certainly did not meet the advertised standards. I would not recommend staying here until they address these serious problems. We reported those issues during our stay and the hotel refunded us 109,30, out of the 492,79 that we initially paid for the 3 nights. 384 for 3 nights => 128 euro per night is far too expensive for this hotel. The price should be at least half.

Accommodation clean, quiet, beautiful large pool. The hosts are nice.

Parking problem, we finally managed to park, but the accommodation does not have a parking space.

There was a basic menu for the breakfast with toasts, eggs and pancakes. We were in two apartments fot seven people. The apartments were comfortable and big but the air was so frowst in the rooms.

There was a strange noise from the trees all the time. I think there were a lot of insects...

A good breakfast is available if you want it but we like Aphea Village because we are vegan/vegetarian and prefer self-catering.

The kitchen equipment could be improved.

Far away from the see, many stairs and no lift.

Very hot weather! Air con unit in lounge not bedroom!

From a distance and in photos, Aphnea Village looks cozy. The beds are comfortable.

The description should state that the property is not suitable for elderly customers. Despite traveling with only carry-on suitcases, the 88 steps between the road and room #56 and the additional 14 inside gave a hard time in the heat. The architect went out of his way here:- The TV is located in the kitchen and only the upper part of the screen is visible from the sofa over the kitchen counter (you see the ball occasionally during ongoing EURO2024 matches). At the same time, the large wall opposite the sofa is free,- the lower part of the unit is not very usable with missing air conditioning,- the bedside table on one leg in bedrooms falls over when the drawer is pulled out,- dividing the unit into two levels - entrance, kitchen and sitting room downstairs, WC, bathroom and bedroom upstairs - is impractical, especially with the connection via narrow, steep stairs. The building has long since passed its best years:- torn toilet seat hinge,- the kitchen cabinet next to the TV smells of mold,- peeling paint on the bathroom door,- the “well-equipped kitchenette” mentioned in the property description has very basic equipment, e.g. a kettle is missing,- water often does not flow from the red taps,- wi-fi is very slow. All this explains the significant discounts: 35% off and Gateway deal …
