    Pros +

    • The awesome staff are fantastic. The wonderful lady (Teresa) who checks you in goes over everything from hours and locks and codes, to restaurant recommendations and where to go swimming at the river - for people who really like nature! The other lady who works at night (didn’t get name) was awesome as well. And it would not be right to not mention the great lady who helps you in the morning for breakfast. Our bags were stored for us and we had the use of a lift. The room was fantastic, spacious, and the bed was super comfortable. The added bonus of a bathtub made it really special. It is also directly on the Camino route. There is nothing about this property that we did not like. We would absolutely recommend this property - and we will stay here again when we do the Camino again - or come to stay at this great town for vacation.
    • Lovely historic property. Very comfortable room. Helpful staff.
    • Beautiful hotel, picturesque village, located next to the Camino. Professional, helpful staff, good restaurants nearby.

    Cons -

    • Everything was awesome.
    • A little on the expensive side.
    • Very old mattress. No tissues. A nice extra in the room could be a water boiler for tea/instant coffee.

Strong AC, awesome employees who helped us in a number of ways while my husband was nursing and injury on the Camino.

The lady at the reception was very kind and helpful – she even told us about the events happening that evening in Villafranca. The hotel was clean, and I especially loved the bed and the fresh, white linens. Everything felt comfortable and welcoming.

Exquisite experience from start to finish. Super comfy bed and pillows. Beautiful bathroom with a soaker tub to die for. Exceptional rooftop views from my top floor suite. Excellent buffet breakfast. Superb staff. Central location on the Camino by the river in a central location. Quiet peaceful sleep.

A beautiful old building, room & bathroom very pleasant. Staff were great. On the Camino and literally only a short 2 min walk to the main square.

Sorry we didn't get a chance to try breakfast.

    10KellyPosted on: 5-9-2025

The location is right off the Camino and acre minute walk to plaza mayor. The hotel was immaculate which as a neat frank I appreciated. It was a beautiful space and I rested in the quiet of the building! And I had one of my favorite cafe con leches at breakfast.

Excellent breakfast, super clean, cozy atmosphere

Too much noise in the room coming from the corridors + breakfast was too expensive.

    10JosephPosted on: 5-1-2025

Directly on the Camino. Very clean, really well appointed room, very comfortable bed.

Beautiful stay on the camino with a decent sized room and bathroom. Lovely decor, comfortable, clean and cozy room. Had a fantastic view and was right on the camino. The breakfast was great value and the staff friendly.

The town was lovely however the streets and pathways are going through major renovations and may be difficult to access for some.

    9AlexandraPosted on: 10-23-2024

Stunning, gorgeous, comfortable and clean rooms with loads of space. It's close by to the centre of town and very walkable to restaurants, the cathedral and the gardens.

The booking lists laundry facilities but there aren't any available and there is also no laundromat in the town so just plan ahead if youre on the camino and need clean clothes. WiFi also stopped working in the morning

Comfortable, nicely decorated, lovely staff, good breakfast
