Nice location, quiet, good breakfast

A bit out dated. The room we stayed in the door was short and I hit my head a couple of times

I had a great view of the ocean and Monemvasia. It is just a short walk to the beach and many cafes and restaurants.

Having to leave!

It was centrally located, by the beach and right near the Castle. It was clean with a nice balcony overlooking the water and the Castle. Also, it had that Greek, “ traditional “ feel.

Homemade choices in breakfast.

Noisy, busy road adjacent to the room.Explicitly asked for a quiet room when booked (in April) and got a very noisy room.Poor quality, old light shutters, shaking to any sound windows. Not at all sound proof either.Door of the bathroom not closing properly.Smelly toilet pipes.

The location was perfect and staff were very kind. It was close to the beach and bus that takes you to old city. It was also conveniently located next to several shops so anything you need is easy to reach. Parking was not on sight but close by and convenient. The views were beautiful and the room was very clean. The air conditioning worked really well also! The bathroom was also very clean and modern.

As with anything with such an ideal location, there is noise in the neighborhood so if this will bother you be aware.

The location is great, just 5 minutes walk from the centre of the new town (the hotel is not located inside the old town of Monevasia but in the centre of the new town, which is located 1Km away from the castle, which you can easily access either by feet (10-15min) or by city's mini-bus (1.4€). All personnel were very polite, and willing to provide all kinds of information. Room was clean, towels were new, bathroom was good.

The hotel is noisy; located just in front of the main road is is impossible not to hear the cars passing by through all night (the old balcony door was unable to provide any insulation. Walls are too thin, we practically spent our vacation together with the family lived in our next room. Breakfast is optional at 12€/person, served indoors and in my opinion a couple can find much better breakfast offers at the cafes around the hotel

Needs to have more towel hooks in bathroom and tea and coffee making facilities would be good.

The location was great.

The room I was given was poorly renovated with exposed wires throughout the apartment including the bathroom. It looks like this has been kept like this for 2 years…

Everything was great

The staff was very kind ,the room was very clean and big,The location was good ,with a view to the see.

In the evening we did not have hot water to the shower

Bathroom renovations not fully complete

The breakfast had lots of great food including a delicious fig jam. The orange juice was like drinking candy! They had a lovely view of the Rock and the staff was very friendly. You can leave the windows open and hear the sound of the sea all night and day. Fresh breeze that keeps the room cool.

I am big on swimming and the wind was too strong pushing g the waves to roughly to the beach, which is a block away. When I asked the receptionist where I could swim, she pointed to beaches on the other side of the peninsula, too far for my comfort. Later when I walked to Monemvasia 's fort, I saw a little swimming area tucked into the side of the road where I wish I would have gone. It had steps to help you into the water and even a shower to rinse after. Also, I particularly loved it but someone else travelling with me did not like the loud chanting from the church services that take place in the church behind the hotel on Sunday and early Monday including some wild bell chimming.

Location and staff were great. Balcony and ac great.

Many things in the room have not been installed properly or are missing. No handle on the door. Electrical fittings exposed. No hooks to hang wet towels, no toilet roll holder, no exhaust fan, no electric jug, no freezer compartment in the fridge, and so on. We were given the reason that the hotel is being renovated but there was no sign of work being done. For the price those basics should be there and the price should be reduced till the rooms are properly finished.

Room view and position few min walking from castle

Room size and shower with curtain and little space. One side of the bed has no plug, so you cannot even turn on the lamp there.
