Hotel Da Marco

This hotel was in a beautiful setting with mountains in the background. It was a very peaceful area. It was close to other villages with shops and a grocery store near by. Dario was a wonderful host, he made us feel like family. He went above and beyond to describe the area and tell us what there was to see. Breakfast was included. We enjoyed the dinners that he served in the restaurant, home cooked by his mother. We also met his father and had some wonderful conversations. The rooms were very clean and the bathrooms looked to be newly renovated. We enjoyed the experience so much that we decided to stay an extra day. We would definitely stay here again.

Breakfast could be better, expensive dinner 30 Euro with only one option, small single beds, uncomfortable mattresses.

If I could give more than 10 I would. From our arrival until we checked out, our host Dario was great, very accomodating, helped us with everything we needed. Rooms were amazing, very clean and spacious. Breakfast was delicious. The location was also great, very close to everything we were planning to see.

Dario is great - attentive, responsive and always there for help and suggestion. Half board available for dinner which was very delicious. Vigo di Cadore is also a quiet nice little place to explore.

Only accessible by car as there's no public transport. It's one hour drive to Tre Cime di Lavaredo. Some warm food for breakfast would be better.

Hotel staff were very accommodating and helpful with suggestions for local activity. The room and facility were very clean and comfortable. They did great working with my dietary restrictions as well.

The owner was so helpful and welcoming in helping me locate beautiful hikes. The hotel was charming and the breakfast delicious. The little town is very scenic and authentic. It has a beautiful little walk into the small town. No traffic or crowds of any kind. It is driving distance to the popular hiking areas that are swarming with people. The hotel was a welcome retreat.

Absolute recommendation for the hotel. The staff and the facility where we stayed are truly phenomenal. From the very welcome and kindness, everything was homely and friendly. I really have not had such a pleasant experience until now, as if I had gone to a cousin whom I had not seen for a long time. Excellent breakfast, homemade, staff more than kind and friendly. The location is excellent if you want to visit the entire Dolomites, everything is about half an hour to an hour's drive away. The place itself is a real refreshment, calm and without noise and crowds. Thanks to the host for everything, if I ever return to the Dolomites, I will book the same hotel again.

Warm and confortable hotel, in a quieter location, still close to the spectacular Dolomiti trails. What truly made our stay memorable was the incredible hospitality. The host and staff are providing a homely atmosphere, also offering great tips and helpful information, that made the best of our exploration of the Dolomites.

Top location with a wonderful panoramic view to the Dolomites. Our room was small, but very comfortable and clean. The best are the people, Dario’s family and the team are spending a lot of efforts to make your stay comfortable. We will come again.

We LOVED staying at Hotel Da Marco. Dario the owner met us as soon as we parked to welcome us and share helpful information. The room was clean, peaceful, and comfy, and breakfast was filling and delicious. Vigo di Cadore is a charming town from which to do via ferrata in the Dolomites. Highly recommend!

Nice small hotel in a quiet town, close to all areas of the Dolomites. Dario is a really great host who will give you all the information you need to have a really nice time in Cadore.

I was impressed with Mama and Son running the hotel. Very friendly and professional. It was very cold and rainy when I visited, so I'd like to come back during warn´mer weather.

Everyone at Hotel Da Marco was very friendly and extremely helpful. They welcomed us warmly and helped make sure our stay with them was the best part of our entire European trip! The hotel itself is beautiful with spectacular views. The food we enjoyed there was spectacular and obviously prepared with great care and affection. We cannot wait to go back!

The owner and his mother were extremely friendly and helpful, the home grown produce and meals were beautiful. A bonus was garage parking for the motorcycle. We really enjoyed are stay here.

The shower could have been larger, but to his credit the owner did apologise in advance. This was only a minor point and we would highly recommend the hotel.

The hotel owner was so enthusiastic it was catching. The room was great comfortable with a great balcony shared with 3 other rooms.Food was cooked by his mother and was superb.service great.We arrived on a motorcycle and the owner removed his car from the garage so I could park there.
