- Stairs, not the amount but the design. Stupid me didn’t realise there was a lift until I was leaving.
- The room looked old and dirty. The bathroom was not cleaned properly there were hair and stains everywhere. There was a lot of noise fromPeople shouting during the evening and night that we felt unsafe. This “hotel” is more a youth hostel definitely not a place to take your children.

This small hotel is conveniently located, we found it right away. Very friendly staff.
There was only one chair in the room, although it was designed for three people.
The location was good. The room was nice and clean. The area is good. There is a park nearby for the dog.
There was noise throughout the night. People coming and going from 2 am till 5 am.
Water coming out of the shower whole bathroom full of water.Doors are brokenNot safe
Everything
Poor.
Our stay was only for one night of our visit planned 5 nights. Unfortunately we found it to be unsatisfactory. Our bed sheets were stained, towels had make up stains still on them (not from our stay) we had a single pedestal fan for a family of 4. Overall we found it to be dirty and did not feel safe and secure our stay. We would not recommend and were glad for the refund.
Last minute booking for 1 night, the hotel was fast and flexible with the service. Beds were clean.
Not the cleanest hotel around. Wires exposed where light should be fitted.
Trudy was very friendly and she was the only redeeming quality of this "hotel", and location was great
Disgusting room. Not clean. Smelly. Sticky and dusty. I don't think it is cleaned often regardless of people moving in and out. Bathroom STUNK. I was worried about bed bugs and mice but didn't see any as far as I know. I would never stay here again and if I wasn't in a bind I would've left that night. No phone to call front desk. Not really a front desk. No staff presence. You fend for yourself in a grimy dirty place. Smells like cigarettes and weed.
Trudi was nice.
The room smelled like cigarettes, we tried opening the window but then the mosquitoes started coming in. It is super far from Haarlem city center and it is beside a road so at night motorcycles passing were waking us up. The Breakfast was not included even though it said so in Booking. The neighbors were fighting and shouting all night so we were awakened by them and a bit scared as well.
The town was nice and quiet.
Mouse in the room. We were awoken at 5am by a mouse going through our bags. When we shined lights on it, it ran across the coffee machine, onto the floor, then out of the room under the gap under the door. Management were dismissive and non-responsive to complaints. We could not sleep after that happened, so we just left at 6am. Hotel was obscenely expensive (King’s Day weekend), so we did not expect that it would have a mouse in the room.
Great place in a great location close to the center, shops and local stands on the other hand, there are many lovely places to walk and relax.Comfortable room with full equipment and, most importantly, brilliant service, the owner is very nice and accommodating I heartily recommend it
Very friendly staff - woman at reception was most helpful.
Room was a bit outdated
The Receptionists, free parking and the location.
It was very dirty and dusty. Windows, door, almost everything is broken. Never with children. This hotel does not cost more than 30€ per night.
Nothing!
The place is run down and dirty, the reception is fly infested. It’s being used to house all male migrant workers, and honestly can’t be called a hotel, we left after viewing the equally dirty room, filthy balcony, and towels, we were refused a refund- STAY AWAY from this place!!
The room was clean.
Could not sleep. What can be worse than being tired after sightseeing around Haarlem and not getting more than a few hours of rest? Room no. 1 (avoid at all costs) is on the ground floor next to the main entry, and even with the window closed, you heard everything, including the constant traffic. There was a steady flow of people gathering to smoke and drink next to our room... until 4am!
Bathroom was decent standard. Trudy who we dealt with was very friendly and helpful. Beds were comfortable
Toilet roll was not replenished we ran out. One towel had large hole in it. The street was really noisy till late there was a week long festival on. Painting is required in much of hotel. Cleaners only came in one day out of four
A nice room and bathroom. Comfortable beds. A very special breakfast served by a very hospitable member of staff.I would recommend this hotel tomy friends
Everything was fine.
The greeting on entry and exit was really warm and welcoming despite not arriving until 11.30pm and our est time was 10.00pm. The room was laid out very well and the shower & toilet were combined in a compact cupboard with sufficient room to spread your arms but not enough for you to want someone else using it while you shower. The bed was comfortable and the rooms was very clean and quiet. I cannot comment on the food as we ate in Amsterdam all the time but the serving area always looked clean & ttidy and the receptionists are more than willing to pick you up from or to Santpoort-Noord station. We had a great stay and would certainly recommend to anyone (in fact have recommended to sister-in-law)
The windows were secured closed and unable to open to air the room
It was a good location to the city center.
The staff were not very welcoming. The price was too much for the standard of the hotel. The room was not up to standard and the bed was very uncomfortable.
