Pros +
- They don't have even the basic necessities that most lower star hotels provide ie; slippers, robes, iron, ironing board and conditioner. The rooms are very minimalistic - which I can live with. It was quite clean and hygenic but otherwise disappointing.
- My only reservation is the location. However there is a bus outside that leaves like every five minutes for haarlrem central. I would gladly stay here for the private, clean experience and readily transport to haarlem and amsterdam. The staff is wonderful
- The staff was friendly, the room was comfortable and clean. They have free parking, which is a big plus in the Harlem area. This was my second stay and I wasn't disappointed. I'd be happy to stay there again.
Cons -
- Nothing wrong there
- Did not dislike anything. A good steady hotel which served our purpose.
- There was a smell of cigarettes in the room which made sleeping really uncomfortable, the bathroom was clean and the staff was very helpful but i shared a room with my sister and my bed had like a dent in it in the butt area where it felt like it was very used.

A good location for what we wanted to do. Did not interact with the staff or other visitors. However the staff were efficient and welcoming when being asked for help

Location was excellent, close to bus stop. Friendly staff, very helpful and approachable. Rooms were cosy and clean
The staff, the bathroom, the tv, the lighting

We stayed at this hotel for 4 days as a family of 5. The room was nice and clean, the beds were comfortable and despite the cold weather the room was very warm (you are able to control the temperature of the room). By car most places in Amsterdam was about 30 minutes away but the bus stop is also quite close. Right behind the hotel Theres a McDonald’s which is quite handy to have around.
The location was great but would recommend somewhere closer if you want to frequently go to Amsterdam
Room was good size and clean. Enjoyed the breakfast. Bed was comfortable. Room facilities were good.
My stay was for about 2 weeks. I did book the hotel because it had a gym. Unfortunately it was too cold to use. I used it for 4 evenings in a row when i arrived but ended with a cold. This did not help with my work. I did ask for a heater to be put in there but this did not happen. There are two radiators in the gym but these do not work.
We had a spaceous, clean room with a huge bed and lovely staff
Friendly, good humoured staff from across the European Union. They were welcoming & friendly, and speak a range of languages between them.I particularly liked the shower. It is a nice idea to provide a drink at the bar included in the room rate. This encouraged me to say hi to other guests.Window allowed plenty of air.McDonalds right nearby means a quick snack is easy, but there was also a fridge. WiFi worked well, so I could take a work call with no problem.
It is pretty unusual for me to have no criticisms!
We had a bad experience this time.
We arrived at the hotel late on Saturday night, exhausted from work. At 5 a.m., the fire alarm suddenly went off, forcing all of us to rush outside in complete panic. What traumatized us most was learning that the alarm had been triggered simply because a staff member had burned some food in the kitchen. It was his very first day at work, and instead of showing responsibility or professionalism, he treated the situation with an alarming lack of seriousness. What disturbed us even more was that the person in charge at the hotel refused to let the fire department come and prepare an official report. As guests, this would have given us peace of mind and the assurance that we were safe. Instead, the only person responsible for our safety that night chose not to take responsibility, leaving us anxious and exposed. This negligence forced us to abandon the hotel immediately. The real issue was not the false alarm itself—it happens everywhere—but the irresponsible decision to prevent the fire department from verifying that there was no actual danger. In any other country, such verification is mandatory, because what if it had been a criminal act and the fire department was told, “No, it’s fine, there’s no fire,” while someone intended to set the building ablaze? This was a complete failure of hotel management. The safety of hundreds of guests was left in the hands of a single, inexperienced employee who excused himself by saying he didn’t know the rules or the procedures. For years, our team has stayed here for work events, but this will be the last time. We sincerely hope the hotel takes responsibility and improves its safety and crisis management protocols, because guests’ lives and well-being should never be treated with such negligence.
Friendly staff. Nice room with a large comfortable bed. Good bathroom. And, we liked the view.
Everything was good but there was no kettle in the room. When requested they gave us an old kettle with rusted coil . That was the only thing they could improve. Rest was great
Very friendly staff , very clean, good value for the money spent.
Nothing, it was functional and well located for my needs.
Friendly staff, clean room, free upgrade, big tv.
There was a small stench of sewerage in the hallway/passage and room. Food is very expensive.

The bed is lovely
The coffee machine is not a good one the pods fall true . Only.a shower no bad
Breakfast ended at 9am - too early with no notification. Reception waa off-handed with me & claim the sign was everywhere???But lovely Conny, head of breakfast service, said she can bring us some breakfast & hot drinks. We enjoyed the the kind offer more than the breakfast.
Room en suite was dirty & has to pick up loads of hair from drainage as it was no longer draining. Toilet was blackish so had to squeeze shampoo into it & pour hot coffe into it & flush after 5 mins in an effort to clean it before use!!!!
