Hotel 2000 Valkenburg

Staff were great lovely and clean room maid was in every day can't fault place and was 10mins walk to town where plenty of resturants to eat and drink x

Not much. The place is old and poorly maintaimed.

The room. The shower was broken and when I reported it the desk person didn't care. Do yourself a favor and pick another hotel.

Good breakfast, good reception desk, location close to center, good parking

The 1 person room was smaller than my student living room when I was 18. The room was not cleaned when after I checked in and the shower head was broken meaning I had to shower with the shower head in my hand while it is a very easy fix. As in many hotels, there is little to no attention for single travellers.

Room is very very outdated. Bathroom is very very old fashion. Staff uses excessive amount of chlorix when cleaning. Would not recommend. Beds and pillows are uncomfortable

The veranda and that’s about it

The room in the wing we stayed requires urgent renovations. They use in the corridor the emergency lights instead of the spotlight.Mattresses weren’t comfortable .

Neat, very friendly staff, very good breakfast with lots of choices, quiet location.

The staff was friendly

Old. The beds. Way to soft. Forget my pillow that I always bring with me. Text the hotel to send it up. Payments on me offcourse. They even didn’t react

It is common that when you are alone you (relatively) pay a little bit more than when two. However, this time the room was very small and had a small single bed. Therefore, I do not understand why I had to pay more. Further, the room was outdated and the sink was broken.Just to mention, I missed the Dutch hagelslag for on the warm sandwiches during breakfast. And the chocopasta was a B-brand.

Location

It was very cold in the hotel room because the heating was only turned on in the evening for a few hours.Breakfast was of low budget quality.The proprerty was not well maintained. Parking costs of EUR 8 per day is too high for a Parking made of pebbles, it was very hard to carry our luggage up the hill to the main entrance of the hotel.

We visited Valkenburg for a first time and the Hotel 2000, is a clean and cozy hotel with affordable price for a night.

I think €250 per night is expensive, certainly when you don't get the comfort you were hoping for, it's an old-fashioned hotel.

Breakfast. Good comfortable beds. Clean especially the bedlinnen and towels.

When we arrived in a cold room we were disappointed as we were expecting it to be warm as outside was cold. We put the heating on and luckily when we returns at 20.30 it was warmer. No heating in the bathroom. In the booking It Said all the taxes etc were included, we had to pay €6 toerist tax which we were not expecting.

Location to centrum and train station

Having to pay for parking on hotel property. I’ve stayed here many times in the past and was never charged for parking. I think quality has lapsed. I will stay somewhere else next time

The hotel is clean, there's parking available for guests (at an extra charge, though) and the breakfast was nice.

The hotel is old, the room is old and the facilities are old. It really needs an upgrade. It was quite expensive too for its quality, but then again everything was expensive in Valkenburg around Christmas time, so this is understandable.
