Pros +
- Great location just across the street from the station. Very easy, short walk to get to the city centre.
- Location
- Good choice of breakfast. Bath in the room.
Cons -
- Bathroom doors are made of see through glass, and sink out in the bedroom - not providing a lot of privacy. Perhaps not the best option when sharing the room with other people.
- Rooms were not sound proof at all. We couldn’t sleep properly as some hotel machine was working the whole nightAlso, we could clearly hear love making sounds from other room
- Bad quality, material of bed and cheap furnitures.

Good choice of breakfast. Bath in the room.
Bad quality, material of bed and cheap furnitures.
I booked a family room which was really beautiful and extremely comfortable with adjoining room. The coffee and tea making facilities were a nice touch and the location was brilliant (just across from the train station). The staff were also very friendly and accommodating.
I paid extra for the breakfast which was a bit disappointing. By the time we arrived around 9.20 the eggs were cold and rubbery, the bacon was all gone (it took over 30 minutes before it was replenished by which time we had almost finished our breakfast). The rolls were over-baked and were too crunchy… So disappointing.
The hotel was lovely, the room spacious and the bed comfortable.
I paid for parking for the entire duration of my stay but once a week, without having been warned, when the restaurant was closed, there was no one around and no one to open the car park, so I had to find elsewhere to park at night. It was also outrageous that one day, as I left very early in the morning, the door to access the hotel lobby was locked. Eventually a cleaning lady came around but had no key, though she explained how to exit through the underground park. All of these things made me feel pretty unsafe. If there had been an emergency, there was no one at the hotel desk.
Close to train station
Room not ready at check in time, Stairs to manage with luggage, no assistance offered. Although close to Train Station a bit of a walk to centre of city and Xmas markets.
Was clean. Nice location.
The room wasn't heated. We were cold from being out all day and checked in late. Unfortunately, the room was freezing. We waited a long time for it to warm up. The heater was quite noisy, making it uncomfortable.
Restarant under hotel
Smell of smoke when passing corridor upon using the lift. Staff were not so friendly.
Lovely property - clean, tidy and very well presented. The restaurant offered a delicious meal on the evening and breakfast did not disappoint.Staff were friendly and helpful.Small walk to town and parking was easily sorted.
I loved the staff, sooo welcoming and caring, the sauna in the bathroom and very beautiful big bathroom
The room was not as clean as expected, the artificial plant in the room was dusty which made me question how clean it was but everything else was okay
Lovely themed hotel with really helpful staff. Perfect location for our short break.
Great location, just in front of the station and very close to the center of Valkenburg.
Insulation is very bad, lots of noise from the street and you can hear everyone coming to the hallway, opening and closing the doors just as if there were no walls. Pillows and mattresses are not comfortable at all. The floor looks like it is dirty, definitely needs to be retouched.
IdealLocation for the town
Car parking was very expensive and not secure at all . No door on the bathroom either .
Only the location
Forst off all there is no elevator in the hotel you need to enter the apartment building elevator then get down by stairs to your room, there is no reception after 11:00 pm when we came back our room card didn’t work so we try to contact the hotel by calling them ( international call ) after the 3 time someone answered we told him about our problem he said i will check with my colleague and no one came when we call again he lead us to the master key safety box . It was bad experience ever
Location was great, pricing was also relatively good. Valkenburg is a very nice location. Public transportation is directly across the street which was awesome.
The staff at the front desk was not very friendly. They also do not have a secure room to check in your luggage while you're waiting for your room to be cleaned. There was one lady that was very nice. Unfortunately we did not get her name but she seemed to be the most experienced of the crew.
Close to station Friendly staffGreat shower
The stay was good and in line with my expectations. The food was fine, the staff polite and helpful, and the room was clean and comfortable. Overall, a pleasant experience.
Great location. Great service. Lovely looking room.
The air conditioning. It was very hot in our room and the air conditioner did nothing.
Beautiful decor, clean and comfy rooms, staff were lovely.
Good
Staff knew that we don't speak dutch, nevertheless every single mail was in dutch... Communication was not easy.Even when calling the emergency number, everything was in dutch so that we didn't know/understand how to proceed... As a hotel it would be the minimum to have the automatic messages in at least also english, or german as located at the border....
