The location was excellent--a short walk from the train station--and much appreciated because of a train delay! Check-in was efficient, and our room was comfortable and artistically decorated (in a quirky, whimsical way). Breakfast was really good and a great start to our day. We walked over the bridge and were able to walk around the old town before it was time to check out.

Very good location, walk over the bridge to the old town, one minute from the train station. Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. Able to make tea, coffee throughout the day.

Nice location. The city center is right across the bridge and it's an easy walk to get there. I had a nice view from my 4th floor window. The AC worked well and cooled the room quickly once I turned it on. The breakfast was good. The elevator is small but works well.

I expect an Ibis Styles to be better than a regular Ibis and this one isn't. Everything looks old and it's a no frills basic hotel. The beds are firm. The room is very small. There are no closet or drawers. The proximity to the bridge means it can be noisy with loud cars and motorcycles.

Great location near bus and rail station; situated on banks of the river. Rooms with river view particularlly nice.Efficient and helpful staff. Nice breakfast included in rate. Easy walk to town center.

Modern amenities in an old building was really cool! A/C & decorated to perfection! Located right on the Adour River & by the bridge into town with restaurants. Great location!

A little more expensive than the other hotels we were getting on our trip, but the included breakfast made up for it.

The location is great, minutes on foot from the train station and the bus stop for the long distance buses. The hotel is just across the bridge from the heart of the city which makes it accessible but also a quieter base. The room was spacious and comfortable and the complimentary drinks in the cafe area a nice touch. I was given a room with views over the river which was delightful.

I loved the view from my room to the river. I could even here the river flowing. The hotel is excellent located, in Saint Esprit very near Grand Bayonne and Petit Bayonne too. The bed was comfy, pillows and blanket too. The room was cleaned every day, very well. The staff was very helpful and friendly. They brought me a gluten free bread and madeleine every morning at the breakfest, there were a lot of other gluten free options too. It was nice I could have a cup of tea in the evening at the hotel lounge, it was free for guests to have a coffee or tea during the day. When I arrived, there was a weird noise in my room, like a clock ticking, and the staff arranged me right away a new room. I would definitely choose this hotel again!

Hotel well located across the bridge from the old town and right next to the train station and parking.Spacious quiet room with a view, plenty of storage space, comfortable bed and working AC.Very good breakfast, as usual in an Ibis Styles.Relaxed atmosphere, coffee and tea available all day.

The room was very small. It would be great for a couple. The tub side was so high there should be a grab bar to help with getting out.

Excellent location, literally a walk across the bridge next to the hotel into the centre of town.2 minutes walk from the main train station, which was how we arrived into Bayonne.Pleasant continental style breakfast included.The lady on reception who checked us in was extremely pleasant and helpful.Room had a lovely view up the river.

The room looks a little tired, and would benefit from a refresh.
