    • the pool was very beautiful
    • Beautiful blue flag beach
    • The entire resort facilities are magnificent. Breakfast and dinner food selection is countless and with high quality. The view from the restaurant balcony is stunning. The pools were fun, the beach was amazing and clean, and the aquapark was the cherry on top for the kids.Everywhere we went the staff was welcoming and warm.Great place for a relaxing family vacation.

    Cons -

    • the fact that the hotel was remote and i needed to walk for evey facilitythe rooms were dirty - sand in ythe bed ' hairs in the bathroomwals are thinand curtains do not allow full darknessthe room needs renovationthere was no body soap in one ot the roomsthe lifeguard in םasis didnot allow my 14 years old to swim with googls she claimed that this is a pool for rest - this is outragous
    • The hotel was outdated, dirty, there were ants in the room. The pictures on booking were fraudulent. It is not a 5 star, rather a 1 star hotel. Beware!
    • We were supposed to take the furry from Kyllini port to zakynthos island but we ended up loosing it so we had to wait 5 hours for the next one .We decided to visit the hotel and use the facilities and send some fun relaxing time .So we called and we were told that the facilities are only for the guests .Then we decided to book the cheapest hotel room so we can use the facilities but the girl that picked up the phone gave us double the price compared to the price we had found on booking and ended up booking the room through booking .The place was beyond disappointing. It was unorganised , and completely lacking in any form of hospitality. There was no valet service, so you were left to figure out parking on your own like it was a roadside motel.Nobody was there to guide you from the entrance to the hotel( since there are 5 different buildings in the property )When we finally found the hotel we realised there was no beach in front like the pictures and we had to wait in the sun for a golf cart to take us to another hotel that the beach was there .We ended up walking the whole way there since no Golf cart showed up .The worst part is that when we arrived at the other hotel the beach was 1 km away and you had to use more than 150 steps to get there , the beach was nowhere near the hotel — totally misleading! Definitely not accessible or convenient for someone in my condition or other guests that have other movement disabilities. The elevator didn’t even exist, and as a pregnant woman, I was forced to climb endless stairs just to get there so because I almost fainted so we ended up not visiting the beach or the pool .From start to finish, it was a nightmare. Nothing was five-star except maybe the price. Avoid at all costs — I wouldn’t wish this experience on my worst enemy. We ended up paying for a room that we didn’t use and because everything was so far and confusing didn’t even use the facilities.

The specific Ilia Palms hotel building is the least appealing (externally) among all resort facilities but reasonably acceptable with the most affordable deal among the rest, while enjoying all the high quality facilities (including restaurant) same as the rest. All and all, a great deal that balances between affordable stay price and high end resort.I would make an effort to improve two specifics to upgrade the room stay experience:1. Room cleanings need to be improved!2. All rooms have wide windows and balcony (which are great) but very poor old fashioned drapes that cannot really cover the windows. The result is strong sunlight every morning at sunrise. With a bit more attention this can be fixed.

The stuff and the location. People working in the complex are marvelous. The seaside is astonishing Food is also very good

Semi-clean rooms with paper wallsNo air conditioning in lobby lounge and dinning areas. Sweaty employees were trying to work and serve breakfast lunch & dinner and please all customers…There was a golf car-in theory- transferring people to dining areas. Residents have to walk a lot…Room service not available (hahaha)

Nice rooms and fabulous quiet pool with lots of beds, towels and shade. A little further from beach but tbh the beach is a bit of a trek in any case up and down many sets of stairs. However, there's a cart that will take you anywhere in the resort so not really an issue. Great water park!!

It's expensive, and half board does not include any drinks not even water.

    1EvePosted on: 7-27-2024

property was dated. No upkeep maintenance has been done facilities where in bad condition. under staffed. the hours of bars and restaurants did not represent holiday hours. opened to late closed too early.

    8IoannaPosted on: 7-15-2024

The staff was perfect , very gently

The room was small for a family with 2 kids, expensive for this facilities and the second day , we didn’t have clear pillowcases

Feedback related to Oasis as at the end we got accommodated in there. We liked the fact that entire hotel area was very specious and everyone could find a private spot for yourself. The outdoor swimming pools are excellent with a great sea view. The food was at the best quality!

No elevator access for all the rooms, we had to carry our 20 kg luggage through stairs. As we were probably first guests after winter closure, the room had a bit of mould smell. The charge for water at the dinner was ridiculous, this could be included in the room price as signing bills for water was a bit awkward (bottle of water was 4.40 euro, the most expensive I ever paid).

Where to start? Amazing food, great spacious facilities, events for kids and an amazing pool bar and beach. Friendly staff. They also offered us a baby bed with a mattress which was wonderful.

    Everything was perfect!

I have been at Grecotel two years in row. First the place for summer holiday is amazing, I can't find word to describe how magnificent is that place. The staff is very friendly and polite, always with a smile in their face and treat you like you know them for ages. The food very very very tasted and very very very clear, everything very organised. I dont know for me and my family is the best place in the world with the best staff in it, like PARADISE.

The food and the drinks was very nice. The aqua park was fantastic. The pools and the pool bars was very good and the staff very polity.

The room was very small. The room wasn't clean and smelling bad. The door of the room have damage and we couldn't open it. No service at the pool AND NO COFFEE. The ILIA PALMS building need to be closed because destroying the image of Grecotel.

Friendliness for the staff, kids friendly, our 3year old really enjoyed himself there.

    Facilities outdated, need renovation.

We had connected rooms on the second floor of the Ilia Palms which made our stay with 3 kids very pleasant. The kids loved the aqua park. For the parents a bit too much so we would recommend the swimming pool at the Oasis with access to the beach. The swimming pool at the Ilia Palms is nice to take a dive at the end of the day. Nice and calm in the shade."Golf cars" riding all day long is very nice when it's hot carying your belongings.

Misunderstanding at the checkin because, prior to the reservation, we where told that we could get connected rooms but the receptionist said that they didn't have any connected rooms. When we got to our room, it was a connected room. The receptionist wasn't aware of the fact that there are connected rooms. What is and what is not included at the Oasis restaurant is not very clear in the description. (Drinks are not included)€4,50 for a bottle of water in the Oasis Restaurant is way too much.

Family room was spacious enough with a nice balcony. The cleaning stuff was amazingly polite and professional! The water slides were the main attraction! The breakfast and dinner buffet was tasty and the kids loved it!

Two serious flaws noted.Firstly considering the price per night it is unacceptable to have zero assistance with the luggage to and from the room during arrival and departure! Also, shortage of towels for the waterslides, piscinas ans sea was a daily and common issue!Secondly and most important of all was the fact that at the second night at about 00:35 morning the fire alarm went off! Lots of residents including our family got out and waited but nobody for the hotel stuff was coming to inform us on the issue, eventually I got in and was informed that everything was ok and one resident smoked in the room and set the alarm off! I politely guide them that it is unacceptable to have so many people out of the rooms and nobody was informing them that they could return to their rooms and get some sleep! Lack of an emergency situation noted and proper training to stuff is needed! Next day noon time the alarm was repeated and again we got out and when we complained they said this time was a faulty alarm and was tackled by electrician!Comments are meant for improvement only since the do love the location and hotel facilities! And we intend to visit again!

Great location and with all facilities you need for a good family holiday time. The food and cocktails were good despite the all inclusive and the staff is very attentious and polite doing very well considering the amount of work they have.

The check-in at Ilias Palms is very slow since there is only 1 person available and also has to answer the phone. Also upon check-in our room was not ready despite we arrived after the time recomended (14.00h). Some of the facilities are getting old and you can see that are in need of maintenance. I would say its value for money with the prices of Ilas Palms otherwise seems expensive.
