    Pros +

    • Area is quite and nice , chateau itself isn’t bad
    • Location and atmosphere, the dining experience (the last one was just perfect and personnel attention and professionalism was above expectations)
    • Beautiful surroundings, high quality food, room was in great condition

    Cons -

    • It was absolutely impossible to comprehend when I booked place specifically for spa access and because chateau had restaurant for one night before we head to cost ,when we arrived at 6 pm ,despite the fact that sauna supposed to be opened on that day till 9 pm ,we got informed that no one is there working anymore to let us into facilities -irresponsible and ignorant attitude towards customers .On top of that ,we been told that we cannot use restaurant as its fully booked ,and only way was to sit aside and order room service that didn’t have much options
    • A bit uncommon that toilet and washroom are separate rooms not one by one and you have to pass through the room to wash your hands after using the first one
    • Completely understaffed, really no vibe, we enjoy places that are peaceful and quiet, but this was really stale, it was moderately kept up, but not perfect like so much of France

Beautiful location and rooms was lovely.

The tap on the sink…design over function and was difficult to turn on and off. Would have been useful to have had a small washcloth to clean my face! Had to use corner of the hand towel.

The facial in the spa was excellent and great to have great products. The evening meal, the menu découverte, was exceptional.

Would have been super to have good coffee machine in the room

The reception staff is excellent, emphatic and service minded. They make absolutely the difference and do the extra finishing touch for their guests. The chateau is a beauty from the outside. The inside is modern renovated but with style.Merci beaucoup to the reception staff!

    View and location great.

Disinterested staff, lift not working, several lights in passages not working and very dark, no hot water, poor quality double glazing and very noisy outside. could not contact reception - no answer on any phone numbers, email, messenger or WhatsApp.

lovely location, for chateau ndp, orange, Avignon modern & clean yet retaining the cultural feel

no milk in the room spa / pool is charged for, but worth it. suggest this is just included in the price. heated outdoor pool closed early October, not marketed as such. would have been a factor in our booking decision. bar closed early October bed was well past life span, creaky and a ridge in the middle dinner is chefs decision, no a la carte. so we didnt eat there, am sure its nice but we like to choose

    4EspenPosted on: 10-9-2024

    The property.

Too cold inside. In a rainy week in october, heating should be on.Restaurant reception could/would not help to find/call the receptionist. No information that the pool was closed in October.

The location was excellent. We loved the extensive grounds. It was out of season so no restaurant and fairly quiet. Television didn’t have signal unfortunately. The rooms were lovely with great views across the gardens and enjoyed the sculptures

Television had no signal and would have liked the restaurant to be open

Tranquil and beautifully restored chateau in the heart of the Côtes de Rhône. Spa was lovely and massage treatment relaxing.Staff were all friendly and helpful.Only 10km from Orange which is a nice little French town with some historic sites and plenty of restaurants.

Unfortunately the outside pool and the bistro/bar were both closed which was disappointing as I had booked this as I would be on my own one day as my husband cycled up Mt Venteux.

Beautiful, quiet location in a wonderful park.

In July this year I have booked two rooms for us and my friends for end of October, but since I was in the area end of September, I decided to go there to check out the place. Beautiful, quiet location in a wonderful park. Amazing atmosphere. The room was relatively small with a bed way too soft for my taste, on the other hand the pillow was pretty hard. Unfortunately no A’la Carte dining, only the “Menue Surprise” in the socalled “Gourmet Restaurant Le M”. Full of expectations I went for the 5 course menue. Of course tastes differ from person to person, but at least for me it was a big disappointment. Very special, probably considered creative, strange combinations like “Gnochi, pork brain (!), Truffels foam with a caviar topping” or “Lamb rack, glazed, with seaweed topping”. For me it all tasted strange, nothing I enjoyed and I would like to eat again. Consequently I asked to cancel our reservation for November and since I am still two months ahead of time and because of the disappointing experience I asked for a reduction of the cancellation charge. They refused and charged the full price. So, thank you for nothing. Certainly never, ever again. If you go there, bring your own pillow and eat somewhere else!

Helpful staff. The room that we have booked, standard one, located in the SPA building, had a powerful sewage smell. We notified immediately the reception and they were prompt and very helpful and relocated us to another room and also upgraded us.The location and the chateau itself (the old part) and the grounds are beautiful.

There is a sense of lack of maintenance in the overall premises and gardens. It needs an update and proper maintenance. The standard rooms in the new building have no real connection with the chateau in terms of design and with the architecture. You could be in any 4 star airport hotel and you wouldn't even know the difference. Which is a shame.

    Beautiful chateau.

The Spa and indoor pool cost an extra fee which seems unacceptable.

Hotel is really nice and well maintained! Beautiful surroundings. Staff is very nice. Food is excellent! Perfect escape for a romantic weekend!

The menu could be a little bit bigger in the bistro.

Beautiful place with two very good restaurants. Wonderful atmosphere and the staff was particularly helpful and nice.

Perfect! A very nice location, full of nature, beautiful garden, nice staff, a nice and warm reception, good swimming pool, nice and tastefull decorated rooms and a very nice restaurant outside.

    8DianaPosted on: 7-30-2024

The location was amazing - the grounds of the château are extensive and include a large walled kitchen garden with lots of vegetables, herbs and flowers. We also came across a few hens and a beautiful white cockerel. We ate out mostly but we started the evenings with a glass of rosé and nibbles near the swimming pool. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The bedrooms were very large but the special eco air-conditioning didn't work properly and when the hotel realised that it really was a problem for me, I was moved to another room. My daughter's room was worse. The air-conditioning worked variously but when she opened the window late at night to get some fresh air she was blasted with sulphur fumes from the organic spa swimming pool. At first, we thought it was the waste pipes. So my advice is to ask for a room in the château not in the annex.
