    Pros +

    • Nice location on the water with plenty of good restaurants nearby, as well as the town center. Staff was excellent.
    • The location of this hotel in the center of town and across from the rivers was wonderful! After traveling through the nearby vineyards and going to a wine tasting, we just parked the car in the hotel’s secure parking lot (pay) and walked to the restaurant across the street for a wonderful dinner and a great sunset view over the confluence of the Dordogne and Isle rivers. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was good (pay). Our room was small, but it met our needs for a one-night stay. The biggest downside was the view from our room of a wall of windows from the multi-story school next door…and their potential view of us!
    • The location on the river was nice. Dog friendly even in the breakfast room.

    Cons -

    • Nothing - no complaints.
    • We had to be sure to keep the windows in our room covered since the large windows of the school next door (seemed to be a high school or college) were directly facing our room!
    • Booked two beds, confirmed by reception but sent to single bed room. Air conditioning didn’t work, fan ran all night. Confusing directions to parking. incomplete information about breakfast options. Sheets thin and narrow beds.

    Great location. Friendly helpful staff

    Salon pas trop cosy

    7FionaPosted on: 3-28-2025

Lack of dedicated parking is a negative point but the arrangements in place for parking on the street without charge are effective.

    8JoelPosted on: 3-3-2025

Pleasant, clean and good secure parking

Room temperature was colder than comfortable and the climate control was weak. Somewhat expensive for the standard

    8RoyPosted on: 2-22-2025

    Good location. Excellent breakfast.

No restaurant for evening meals, only a very limited room service.

    9JamesPosted on: 1-18-2025

very nice little hotel, friendly and helpful staff, great bistro just across the street

nothing really, it was just what I needed

Very good and profesional person at the reception (Fernadine) who booked an excellent restaurant for the 4 of us which was excellent. There was space for our car at the parking and all the hotel was clean and nicely decorated

Modern hotel in great location across the road from the river. Short walk to cafes, bars and shops in town. Easy on street parking in front of hotel which is free overnight. Great stopover.

    Clean efficient good ac.

Smell of paint in room. Lobby bar. Nothing distinctive.

    7SuzannePosted on: 7-3-2024

Clean room. Excellent location close to the river Dordogne and centre of the town.

The room lacked storage. Four hangers between two people and when we asked for more we only got two. No mirror in bedroom. Did not like the metal bars on balcony which obscured the view.

Friendly staff, perfect location, nicely kept rooms.

Rooms are a bit dated especially for the price but they seem to be doing renovations anyway. I would say the price is quite high considering the location (Libourne is a small town) and the size of the rooms.

    Location very convenient.

Gin and tonic. €10.00 for a 25ml Gibson +250ml tonic was a disappointment. Wasn't asked if I wanted anything different. Across the road it's €12.00 for a choice.

    7WaynePosted on: 5-17-2024

Service was great, staff were excellent. Well located to the river and restaurant area.

    Breakfast wasn't worth the $$.

    8MadeleinePosted on: 5-16-2024

Superb location right at the port and a few steps to the historical center. Room and bed very comfortable. Staff very helpful, they recommended restaurants and booked a table in the place I chose. Bicycle could be parked under a roof in the hotels parking lot but there was no rack or any option to attach it firmly, but it was still there the next morning. Did not have breakfast, but the breakfast zone looked nicely and was furnished in a modern and tasteful manner.

Price for one person somewhat upscale.

Excellent on the river and near the centre of town, comfortable rooms and bed, very good breakfast, friendly and helpful staff.

Minimal bar facility and no dinner

    10EllenPosted on: 4-26-2024

Location was ok, hotel is clean, staff are very accommodating and helpful.

The noise since a lot of areas in our floor are undergoing repair

    10MichaelaPosted on: 3-10-2024

We will be back. Everything was perfect. The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful. The breakfast buffet was outstanding, all fresh—even the cereal. There was a great selection of everything. You could even create your own tea bag. It was stylish yet classy, decorated and had private and secure parking, which is important when you are traveling with a lot of luggage. The room was nice and the bed comfortable. Also, the location is just perfect. Easy to reach, near the center yet away enough to have a nice walk by the river. It also has a lot of nice restaurants nearby.

Peaceful and quiet. As clean as the best I've had.

Breakfast selection was relatively scarce on non-French options. Could have used another blanket.
