Aloe Boutique Hotel & Suites - adults only

We absolutely loved our stay at the Aloe Boutique hotel. The hotel's location is just seconds from the beach. The hotel is very clean, and the housekeeping team take real pride and care in what they do. The room fridge was replenished daily with water bottles. We stayed on a B&B basis, but we never ate at the hotel any other time, which was only due to so many restaurants being so nearby. I would like to make a special mention to the bar team. especially Theo whose great local wine knowledge was a delight to learn about. I would happily stay at Aloe again.

The pool team take great care to make sure people do not reserve sunbeds, which is great, but there are still not enough beds for everyone staying at the hotel, from my experience.

From the moment we checked in after a relatively short ride from Chania Airport, we were warmly welcomed by Anelia. She took great care of us while we waited to be settled into our room. Fortunately, the room was ready, even though we arrived a little early.Andreas helped us with our luggage using his strong Greek arms, and Fabian, the waiter, made sure we were always refreshed by the pool, with beverages and food available whenever we needed them.We misplaced a couple of items during our stay, and thanks to Anelia and the reception team, everything was found and returned to us.We couldn’t have asked for more from this hotel. It was a fantastic stay - perfect for a workcation (great Wi-Fi!) or simply relaxing by the pool in peaceful surroundings.10/10 – Would definitely go again.

Minor things, there was a empty coffee pod in the coffee machine upon arrival and sand in the pool, which happens.There was also quite a lot of hair in the edges of the pool.

The hotel was exactly what we were looking for. Very clean, with a great pool and amazing staff. A quiet place for truly peaceful days. The staff were always there when we needed them and gave us privacy when we didn’t. They also helped us with recommendations and bookings.The village itself is very small but so peaceful. The location is perfect. With a car, we went exploring nearby places every day: mountain villages, beaches, Chania, and Rethymno.

We stayed at the hotel for 12 nights and really liked our room. The view was also nice. The hotel is quiet and peaceful. Breakfasts were very good, with a wide variety of options. Unlike some other hotels, there weren’t meaningless items added just for the sake of variety. All the staff were very attentive — from the receptionists to the breakfast team, housekeeping, and those working around the pool and bar. We hope to come back again.

The calm, service, small hotel for adults only. Small center under the hotel is very nice.

Location is nice for 4, 5 days, 1 week maximum.But far from many attractions.

Stayed at this adults-only Boutique hotel and had an incredible experience. Exceptionally welcoming staff, outstanding food, and a wonderful atmosphere. Perfect place to unwind and recharge. Don't miss the live events held 3 times a week. Highly recommend!!!!

Lovely hotel for our first time in Crete. Great location in the touristic village of Almyrida, smiling and helpful staff (special mention for Yosif, Maria and Galina). Highly recommended.

Beautiful, tranquil hotel in perfect location overlooking sea. Staff are all amazing and go out of their way to be helpful. Rooms clean and comfortable. Music nights 3 times a week, which were good fun. This was our second visit and will be an annual holiday for us now.

2nd year in a row we stayed here and it was just as perfect as last year. The location of the hotel is ideal, with just a 2 minute walk to the beach, restaurants and bars which are all great too! But the hotel is just beautiful, the rooms are spacious and bright with very comfortable beds. Also cleaned to a very high standard daily. The pool area is lovely, very relaxed and plenty of space for everyone. The breakfast is varied and delicious - especially liked the Sunday champagne breakfast. The lunch, dinner and drinks options all are amazing and spoilt for choice. The staff make everything perfect, they are so friendly and so helpful! From the money you arrive until you sadly leave they make the whole time happy & relaxing. We also used the spa treatments available and was very impressed!

Not a lot of vegetarian options on menu, and the beach in Alyrida is small and rocky, with no private area for Aloe residents.

The hotel was very clean and centrally located with great facilities

Although staff put up signs for guests not to put towels on sunbeds prior to breakfast, I feel it could have been better implemented

“Sea view” room was a bit disappointing because the sea was barely visible. Other guests blocking sun beds with towels despite the signs of not doing so. No sun beds from the hotel on the beach (we had to pay extra every day).

The staff and hotel cleanliness. The hotel layout is also very nice and the quietness and comfort were great!The pictures are a bit deceiving, the hotel is actually smaller than the pictures which is great because it means it was quiet

The beach isn't private and you'll have to pay for sunbeds and parasols and the beach is small close to the hotel.

Super friendly and helpful staff on hand for anything you need at any time. The breakfast was fantastic and we also loved the smoothies and cocktails from the bar served directly to your pool chair.

The bed mattress was very (too) soft which made sleeping a bit uncomfortable, we would have preferred a firmer mattress for better back support.

Everything was just perfect and exceeded our expectations. The staff, the room, the pool area, we could not have asked for a better holiday. Location also was great, the hotel is located on a strip full of cute restaurants and just half hour away from Chania center. We didn’t have dinner at the hotel but breakfast and lunch were great.

Before arriving at the hotel we thought other guests were being picky complaining about the coffee at breakfast, however we ended up finding ourselves fully agreeing to the other reviews on this topic. Breakfast is great with a lot of options, though if you are a coffee enthusiast you will find the coffee from the machine really undrinkable. The coffee machine in the breakfast area should be changed.

Fantastic location, between Rethymno and Chania, amazing , happy and very helpful staff, very clean hotel, adults only, quiet and ideal for peaceful holidays. The beach is 20 meters away.
