Hotel Diana

The Diana suite is exceptional with a large balcony overlooking the beach/sea. The hotel is perfectly located in the middle of the beach and its back entrance opens to a pedestrian street in the heart of the town. The staff at the hotel are very friendly and accommodating.Tricky to get to by car, suggest parking in the lot along the beach 60 meters from the hotel and asking to use their parking facility at 26 euro per day vs 38 at the beach. Many great fish restaurants that are appropriately priced.

The common areas are gorgeous. Location is excellent.

The hotel is in a great place on the seaside, the room was great and clean. The view from the balcony is very beautiful. Hotel has a great restaurant with very delicious food

The Hotel was lovely, amazing setting, really quaint town, and lovely clean accommodation. The food was excellent and definitely worth getting the breakfast too!

Exceptional location. Beautiful, historic building. Breakfast was full of hot and cold choices. Dream-like stay!

Understanding where to park. More info was needed about dropping bags and then finding parking, especially on weekends.

Expensive to reach by taxi and a bit troublesome to reach by train.

While I understand this is a converted old home, the hotel in general is loud. All noises are heard. Mostly from the room above. Loud foot steps and furniture dragging made the stay uncomfortable.

Excellent hotel - breakfast delicious and staff very good. Location second to none and rooms full of character.

Lift was out of order on arrival (3AM). Which meant my elderly Dad had to walk the stairs (and back down for breakfast). If was fixed by 11 am. Not sure there was much the hotel could have done but it was not ideal.

Fantastic location on the beach with a view of the fortification. Amazing two level room with 3 different porches. We loved everything about it.

Nothing, it was beautiful!

The hotel is right across from the beach and the hotel will lend you towels, which is very nice. It’s also very near the fortress and all the little shops and restaurants. Room was large and comfortable, and , the shower was excellent!

The breakfast was not that good for the extra expense. Lots of options, but not that high of quality You can order from a menu (included in the price) for hot food, fruit, cheese etc. but it can get busy so service may be delayed. nespresso self serve coffee. I’d go for a room without breakfast included, if available.

The beautiful old world charm with updated amenities and the breakfast buffet that was fabulous!

Absolutely nothing.

The property is lovely and the room was nice. The patio was great unfortunately it was a thunderstorm so didn’t get to enjoy it as much but would love been nice.

Amazing property right on the beach. Great chill out lounge and restaurant.

We had the family room to accommodate all 4 of us, and we wished it had more of a sitting area.

Location was great

Air conditioning was poor, it was quite warm…very difficult to access hotel and park. Once we figured out the parking lot off site and that we could not drive up to the hotel as it is surrounded by pedestrian streets all was fine. Hotel staff very nice and beautiful historic hotel. Location terrific. Restaurant and breakfast very nice.

Great location and a very nice historic building. The room had an outstanding view of the cove.

Parking was stated as private and in a parking garage. Both true, but reservations need to be made and the garage is definitely a challenge to maneuver within.

Location is great, just requires a creative taxi driver to get to the front of the building.

Shower could use a second holder for the sprayer that was higher. The rain head is not always preferred. Water drainage was an issue.

This is a beautiful property in an exceptional location in a picturesque town. This was a special treat for our family and staying during off season was perfect. We opted for the beach view room for 4. We were not able to book a room with a terrace which I was a little disappointed by but it really didn’t matter. We spent our days out exploring and relaxing on the beach but really did appreciate the ocean and castle view. The breakfast was superb and my only regret was that we did not have dinner at the restaurant. I did not even consider and we went somewhere near by that ended up being g more expensive and when we say guests at Hotel Diana with dinner it looked great and the pri fix was a great deal. I would absolutely come again and recommend.

the location is great. i had a very good view to the castle and the beach.
