Location and breakfast was outstanding

This was definitely NOT a 4 star hotel. The rooms where cramped, we overlooked the parking lot, the floor tiles warped, there was mold in the bathrooms, and the furniture was IKEA quality. --- euros is way too much for this type of room.

Room was wonderful, location was wonderful, beach front was excellent.

The food was truly bad. We paid extra to have dinner as part of our stay and everything we ordered was terrible quality- we had to go somewhere else to eat afterwards. Breakfast was better- but still not good quality.

Lovely place I am looking forward to my next visit already, the Hotel's location is just fantastic!! Breakfast options was great and the town was super, clean beautiful and just a great place to be.

Boutique hotel located at the end of the promenade with a descent to the beach, stunning in its beauty, excellent breakfast, small pool but there is sea, spacious rooms and a very comfortable bed. We enjoyed ourselves. We arrived by car. There is paid parking at the hotel. The staff helped us and recommended places to go for a walk. In short, a worthwhile hotel

Nice pool area and almost private beach. You just step out of the gate and you’re in the sand.

The walls are paper thin, you can hear every single thing in the hotel. We had so much noise from guests, hotel workers and anyone who passed by on the gravel outside despite every window being closed. It was cold at night and we had the most thin blanket so the next day we asked for a duvet.

Very pleasant and helpful staff. Room was more spacious with a bigger bathroom than that on our previous visit.Bar, patio and pool area were well maintained and well provided with seating and loungers. The hotel is right on the beach with a great view across the bay. Breakfasts were very satisfactory though perhaps a bit short of variety. Car parking is more than adequate though relatively expensive.

The WiFi didn’t work in our room. Our phones and iPads only connected when we left the room and entered the main part of the hotel. The tv was small and BBC world news was the only English language channel which exacerbated the WiFi problem. Bar snacks were basic which encouraged us to eat outside the hotel.

The pool area near the beach, it was the best part of the hotel and the fact that we were allowed to stay in that area during the day after the check-out. That is definitely a plus!

WOW! The staff were absolutely amazing. From the moment we stepped through the doors to check in to the moment we left the staff were wonderful. Jessica went above and beyond to make us comfortable and she was very kind. Vita cleaned our room each day and refreshed the towels and did a perfect job. It was SO clean. The cleaning staff were fantastic, the rooms were SO clean!!!! The location is perfect, the facilities are clean and tidy. We enjoyed a few drinks at the hotel bar and restaurant each night and highly recommend the anchovy tapa. Highly recommend this hotel and we hope to come back again!

Once you learn that the Costa Brava is not a string of locations along a beach highway and that you need to pick a spot rather than expect to drive from town to town, Tossa de Mar is an excellent location and the Golden Mar Menuda is a fantastic spot.We were fortunate that they had only recently opened for the year and the rate was astonishingly reasonable.It is a lovely place to stroll and the views from the castle built in the 1200s and freely accessible.The bed was very comfortable in a clean and comfortable room.The staff at the front desk and the restaurant were very attentive to our needs.We could have parked nearby on the street for free but chose to pay the 20 euros to park on the property.

It would have been nice if breakfast had been available for us before our 8:00 departure for Barcelona airport; however, this is a holiday property, not an airport hotel.

Location was excellent, probably the best in Tossa De Mar. Breakfast was great too and personnel was superb.

Room was ok, but I was a bit disappointed to the overall standard of room. However other areas in hotel were good and everything was clean.

Wonderful location by the sea. 10mns walk to town. Great breakfast and dinner. Super nice staff

Location is outstanding. Right on the beach. Walking is easy to town and the walled medieval town. Breakfast was the best we had on our trip. So much choice and goes until 11. Outdoor patio to sit on while eating and enjoying the beautiful views. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Everything was great. We wanted a quiet few days and that’s what we got. Mind you it is October. Personally, I wouldn’t want to come in high season. Rooms have water and coffee as well as a Welcome Cava and Coke. Balcony with partial ocean view. Room was a good size and bed was comfy. The town is very cute and walkable. They have a small passenger train that does city tours and viewpoint tours, if you like. Lots of divers and cyclists in the area. Due to it being Oct and end of season a lot of restaurants were closed. I would have liked to find more authentic spots rather than the tourist ones. Prices were touristy.

The pool area was nice but pool extremely cold. I’m high season I’m sure it’s welcoming!

Fabulous (best maybe) location in Tossa de Mar. The food in the restaurant was very nice. Not a buffet but full menu with options for dinner. Breakfast was buffet but also items cooked to order. All very tasty.

The room we got had no outlook at all and was located closest to reception and a little noisy. I guess we could have paid to get an upgrade.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Checkin and checkout was fast and easy and the girl was walking distance to beaches and restaurants. Would definitely stay again!

the hotel is right at the beach, close to everything: restaurant, hiking paths, restaurants and the historical centre. Fantastic!

Everything was good, we stayed just one night.
