    • Great location, good breakfast, the see view is beautiful.

    Cons -

    • The combined two twin beds are good for children, but for a six foot adult, they were not! Four pillows were provided, but all where extra long and hard. Uncomfortable every night.
    • No carpets in the room. No welcome gift for our son. No woking coffee machine.Small hotelStaff had to be called to come serve us at the bar upstairs and downstairs. It felt like everything was closed, but then it wasn’t. Made us feel a bit uneasy. It just did not feel like a 5 star experience.Bathroom did not have good lighting to put on makeup. Mini bar was not refilled.
    • It is a bit expensive...

    It is a bit expensive...

The room was nice and mostly quiet at night. The dry and steam sauna, cold plunge pool, and jacuzzi were an added benefit. We really enjoyed the rooftop pool and bar.

The flooring in the hallways makes it so you hear people coming in late at night.

Location was great, pool with rooftop bar, and the staff were great

Spa was really nice, but the days we were there the jacuzzi was neutral temp

Great location, great facilities, comfortable room, lovely view. Would absolutely stay again, especially for the location.

The only odd thing was how the bathroom is situated, but it’s not a big enough problem to not stay there.

The property was incredible. Great location, beautiful views we loved hanging out at the pool, incredible breakfast.

The room was well designed and aesthetically pleasing. But when you switched the shower from rain to handheld, the knob was touchy and the other water came out either extremely hot or cold. Could have burned somebody. I wound up just taking mostly cold showers. Also, both times we were at the pool and we ordered food and drinks. It took 45 minutes to an hour for them to deliver our orders. There was one waitress who was awesome but the others weren’t very friendly. When my husband went to go order drinks, the waiters made some rude comments about him and his order but didn’t realize he understood Spanish. We laughed it off but if that happened with the wrong customer, yikes! Haha

The room is big and looks great and modern, the pool on the roof was nice and enjoyable. The hotel location is superb, right next to the sea and to the boardwalk

    Bit pricey.

We had a great time, perfect service. The spa is beautiful. The rooftop pool has the most beautiful view we've ever seen, the pool is not big but really beautiful and impressive. Large and beautiful rooms with a small balcony and a delicious and rich breakfast. Highly recommended.

The property was centrally located right in the middle of downtown Tossa

So many things about this property left left a lot to be desired that I am still in shock I paid so much to stay at this location. The staff was unfriendly and almost forced a smile, normal salutations such as good morning and good afternoons are seldom. The rooms are so small and there is almost no place to put any of your belongings aside from a small tiny chair or the floor. The hooks for the towels are terribly placed on the wall your towels drag on the dirty floor or alternatively the damp shower. The Air conditioner is controlled by the front desk and I don’t mean it’s on auto; they control the temperature and shut it off at their leisure throughout the day and night. The rooms are terribly insulated and you can hear every single person walking and talking down the hall everyday all day it will wake you up. When they clean the room next door early morning and they drag the one chair in the room you will hear that too. There are no spoons in the breakfast room, at all. You just ask for them and the staff guards them with h the with their life, they had a drawer with about 5 for a hotel with hundreds of people. So if you want to stir your coffee or eat a yogurt better use a fork. Salt at breakfast is impossible, only 3 salt shakers for the entire establishment people were arguing for these three salt shakers. I’ve never seen a thing like this in my life. The beds were most uncomfortable and the pillows hard. What a terrible experience I would never ever stay at Elisabeth by the Sea.

    Architecture and decoration

It is a 5 star hotel but it does not operate like one yet. Improve staff operations as very often they seemed overwhelmed specially in rooftop bar.

Nice facility in great location with kind staff. They need to address a few things to make it better

Location is excellent. Staff was kind. A little difficult to access by car. Parking is a few blocks away and spaces are very small so damage to my car doors resulted. Room was decent but small. Pool area could have been kept in better condition and cleaner.

Everything was perfect exceptional service, clean rooms, and a truly relaxing atmosphere

the gym is quite small and lacks equipment.

Lovely hotel, well designed and furnished…good food and nice bar…staff was very attentive, warm, and friendly. The only downside was our room was a bit loud at night and terrace was unusable for much of the day as it was in direct Sun and very hot until the sun went down.

The decor, sea view, spa, rooftop, pool, breakfast - everything was so nice and luxurious without being excessive. Friendly staff, delicious food, beautiful view!

The only suggestion I’d make is to have a few more lunch options and rooms on the third floor can sometimes hear noises from rooftop.

The room was clean and comfortable, beautiful view from the roof

The gym wasn't operational. I was on the first floor and the noise from the street was quite loud. The room is a bit small. The breakfast buffet was super crowded and staff seemed super stressed rushing around trying to accommodate people. I would not call this a five-star hotel.

This hotel was absolutely stunning. The interior decor, finishes and layout were very modern but also comfortable. We had a room looking directly onto the beach so we could watch the sunrise every morning. We also absolutely loved the rooftop pool and the vast number of chairs and umbrellas.

We definitely picked up on the newness of the hotel, which seemed to still be working out the kinks. We were there the weekend before the high season started and they seemed to be short staffed (restaurant, concierge and the bar up stairs). Not sure if that changed in the weeks following our departure but if there were any more people staying there, the staff would have been overwhelmed. Nonetheless, they went out of their way to make up for any long waits or forgotten items. It would also have been nice to be able to get food at the rooftop bar. I suspect this was also a staffing issue. We also didn't love that we couldn't adjust the air conditioning in our room. It was pretty warm so we left our windows open instead. The cool breezes from the ocean were enough to cool down the room, but the nightly parade of bar goers, the tractor that grooms the beach and the garbage trucks made for sleepless nights.
