Hotel El Rancho

Reasonably priced. Staff was very helpful. Breakfast was excellent.

Located in a peaceful suburb, small and full of rustic charm.

After having breakfast we found out our room key didn’t work. Our guide was waiting for us outside so I went to the front desk in a hurry. But the reception lady kept chatting with someone passed by. I didn’t interrupt their conversation because I thought it’s impolite, but the reception lady was definitely not helping a customer. It’s not a very good experience when you have a tight schedule.

Great property, very clean and friendly staff.

It is quite far from the city Center so you are looking at about a 20-30euro taxi one way. But if you’re not planning to travel in and out the this is a Great stay for a great price.

People without a car should note this a 10-15 min drive to the sites in Segovia. It’s very convenient for folks like us with rental cars though.

Nice country finca with a kind owner. Quiet location about 15-20 minutes from old town Segovia. Comfortable and good breakfast.

The original staff member who checked us in was stressed and impolite. She tried to put us in an inferior room than what we booked. Small dark room with no balcony. Owner arrived and moved us to room booked. Light bedroom with a balcony.

The best hotel we stayed in the past week! Amazing breakfast... Single hotel which we stayed and was serving the fresh tomatoes during the breakfast. Fresh orange juice was there also. All was great. We will come back for sure. Dziekujemy :)

A great stopover between Mojacar and Santander. Quirky decor and a fabulous spacious room, great shower and a bath, with a balcony courtyard which was perfect for us travelling with a dog. The Taberna for evening meal was also dog friendly and the burger was Excellent! Only complaint was that dogs not allowed in dining room for breakfast so had to ask for a tray to take food back to room. The supplenent for dog was 20eur which was a bit pricey but i think that contributed to us getting the fabulous room. The dog bed and treats were a lovely touch! Will definitely stay here again just would book without breakfast. Although it's a few km off the motorway it was easy to find and we'll signposted.

The Room was large with a beautiful outlook. The bathroom was good and fully functional. Very good buffet breakfast with hot food options.Really good value for money.

We stayed here on our drive from the south to the north of Spain. The hotel is in an area of mountains that were snow covered in March. Very beautiful. The room was well designed. Very spacious and rustic with a large bathroom. It was very quiet so we slept well. We ate at the hotel which was very nice. The hotel is full of green spaces so lovely to wander around, especially as we had a dog. It was good value for money and we will return

Size of room and the layout, hotels décor was very interesting. Comfortable bar area.

Parking was a little clumsy, not enough spaces outside of the hotel.

We asked to have dinner: they did not provide at the hotel but kindly took us to a nearby restaurant- the food was not good!

El Rancho is a large hotel, spread over quite a large site. Friendly staff and attractive public rooms with colourful and furnishings. Would happily sit in the eye catching designed chairs for many hours.

Because of its size, the restaurant was a short walk away. A good thing too you may say (build up a hunger etc), the problem was that the temperature was close to zero (slightly unusual even for early March) so the walk to supper was more a grumpy trudge than a healthy promenade!

Convenient location for our drive back. Close to a beautiful town. Doggies treated well (but €20 each per night is a little expensive). Great value for money.

There was a bar but no snacks or sandwich's no food to offer you had to wait for the restarant out side to open notgreat when you want some thing quick to eat

It’s elegant without being ostentatious. Everything provided for us and our dog - dog bed and bowls along with treats. Superb.

We loved everything we could not fault it.
