Hotel Villa Gropius

Spacious room, private parking area (12 Euro/night). Very well laid-out breakfast buffet!

The breakfast was good,

The room we were in needed to be updated (carpets dark furniture) for a Star Hotel.

Good location, friendly staff, good breakfast, comfortable bed. Breakfast room/restaurant has a great character.

Parking a little expensive. Could do with more recliners in the sauna area. Rooms are a little dated.

Great Breakfast

Very dated, bed uncomfortable. Rooms need air conditioning.

The breakfast was very good, the room extremely comfortable and very quiet. Location was also very good, close to the centre.

Shortage of parking during busy periods.

I’ve requested late check-in, reservation was confirmed, but no one was at reception and the code didn’t worked. The person on the phone said that she haven’t seen the reservation, told me that she can be in 1 hour and proposed to search for other place to stay. I’ve spent 2 hours of the night with my wife and 1y.o. child to find a place to stay after 30hour ferry trip. Had to spent twice due to late booking and a rush we’ve had

Lovely relaxed feel, especially sitting on the balcony surrounded by trees, gardens, and birdsong

The location is super! Really close to the city center, restaurant and also to the beach. The room is clean and the staff are friendly. For us this hotel is old but cute ?

The window in our room can't be completely closed

We were in this hotel the fourth time and will definitely be back again.
