Perfect if you take the ferry,it is renovated hotel,and has a private parking

The town is not a vacation spot

The location was great because it was right by the port. It was perfect after a 9 hr ferry ride. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean and the shower was nice and hot. The staff was very helpful also!

Great location for walking around and staying before or after your ferry trip. Staff was super friendly and let us keep our pedal bikes safe inside. Had a balcony with nice ocean views of the ferries coming and going.

Great location, friendly hosts, free parking. This was one of many times we have stayed here.

The pillows were all odd and not very comfortable. A shame as otherwise the bed was very good.

Very close to the ferry with excellent parking options. We upgraded to the secure parking area for a small fee but the parking area looked safe so it probably wasn’t needed. The hotel reception people were very welcoming and helpful. The room was clean and quiet, with a comfortable bed and a reasonable sized bathroom. All in all I would recommend staying.

We were very pleased with the hotel. Very comfortable large clean and quiet room, very helpful staff, and the location was perfect (close to the port and centre). There was also a car park to the rear. It is a shame that breakfast is not offered but there are bakeries and cafes very close by. We would certainly stay here again and hence can recommend it.

The location was great for us. The Ktel bus we took from Ioannina stopped right across the street and the ferry we took the next day to Paxi left from the same general area. I was a little worried that the port of Igoumenista would be dirty and filled with pickpockets like Pireaus, but that wasn't the case. I felt safe there and found the people friendly and helpful. I think the Astoria hotel must have been a renovated older hotel, but it had lighted exit signs and other safety features that old hotels lack. Everything looked clean as well. I think someone has spent a lot of time and effort bringing this property up to date and adding colorful pictures to brighten it up.

The floor of the hotel we were on had a long hallway with more rooms than I expected looking at it from the outside. Also the lobby was huge. There was a little room at the end with the desk clerk and a sign on the wall that read "only 2 people at a time." My guess is that entire tour groups might stay there during the summer. We were there in October, so not too many people were around. The decor was rather Victorian, with velveteen and chrystal chandeliers and it made me think of an Agatha Christie movie.

Hotel Astoria is situated close to the New Port and so ideal for the late arrival time off the ferry from Bari. 24 hour reception and greeted with a pleasant welcome.

Quite satisfied.

Great location for what we needed; friendly, helpful staff and very comfortable.

Bit dated decor wise - but nothing to worry about.

Everything was great. We stayed one night at the hotel as we were visiting Corfu. We arrived in the morning and parked our car at the hotel before the official check-in time. We spent the whole day exploring Corfu and returned to the hotel in the evening. The hotel is close to the port, and the staff is very friendly.

Norhing to dislike

Excellent location 7 min walk from ferry terminal. 3 mins from bus station. Great glitzy foyer. We had room with balcony and big circular bed. Good to watch the port and play pretend Hollywood. The 24 hour staff were lovely. Would have stayed another night but booked out. World’s best bakery 2 mins to the left. Not kidding.

Not much. So many mirrors in the lift felt like the matrix or LunaPark.??? Fun if drunk.

Very helpful reception staff, especially the gentleman who on our arrival told us about a nearby beach and arranged a taxi to take us there. The taxi then also came to pick us up and take us back to the hotel.Perfect location for the ferry port as it is directly opposite.

It was as we expected, but the hotel is in need of some modernisation.

Perfect hotel if using the port. Staff are all very helpful and there are nice bars and restaurants within walking distance and a lovely beach area, that the hotel staff told us about, approx 10 min drive away.

Hotel just needs a little modernisation

Location was key for us, as we needed to spend the night close to the port in Igoumenitsa. The hotel is very comfortable and well kept, the lobby looks impressive, and the staff very nice.

It was a very good match for our needs, but I wouldn't recommend it as a holiday destination :)
