Avalon Airport Hotel Thessaloniki

Easy from the airport

The room was cold with no control to adjust the radiator. Old heating ststem.

Beautiful property! Friendly and efficient staff! They all speak English as second language! The food was amazing!! The breakfast buffet was exceptional!!

Location was a bit sketchy, especially arriving at dusk.

Good size room, very clean. Free shuttle from/To the Airport.

Very convenient for car hire and airport. Nice staff. Very good food.

Pool was was already shut in October, restaurant lacked atmosphere, quite a lot of noise from the corridors, bathrooms need updating.

Accessible parking near entrance. Perfect for short stay before flying out next day. Even though near highway, remote and quiet. Friendly staff, good service with a smile. Simple and well organized. Decent in-house restaurant with minimal but good and tasty selection.

Bathroom needs upgrading. Amenities missing from bathroom - only 1 pump soap for hand wash and 1 pump shampoo body & hair.

Close to airport, shuttle service was excellent both pickup and dropoff

no issues

Good lower-cost airport hotel with shuttle service. It's a bit of a dated property but clean and comfortable for an overnight stay. The on-site restaurant is typical of an airport hotel but the food was good. Shuttle driver was especially helpful.

The location is great Just a few minutes from the airport The hotel has a free shuttle from and to the airport working 24/7. Rooms are clean, and breakfast is very nice. The self online check-in is great and saves time.

Lovely, clean hotel, very helpful staff (thanks, Michalis!), delicious food in restaurant, wonderful breakfast included, with free shuttle to airport. With all the amenities, it practically pays for itself!

The hotel is a 5 min drive from the airport and has a shuttle service for free. The rooms are spacious and have good showers. The staff was super nice and helpful

The bed wasn’t comfortable in my opinion but it’s subjective.

Our flight was delayed yet the staff were helpful in communicating. The room was comfortable and quiet. The breakfast was amazing.

Not a thing!

The hotel served its purpose as an airport hotel very well. It is only a 5-10 minute drive from the terminal in the complimentary shuttle bus. The hotel itself is comfortable and well-appointed. The rooms are comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. There is a very pleasant terrace and pool area for eating, drinking or relaxing.

The hotel is in a largely industrial area close to the airport without easy access to public transport. and is therefore not a suitable base for exploring the city. However, that is not a criticism given it's primary function as an airport hotel.

Clean nice people good breakfast

Staff, quality, style location pool, excellent restaurant

Relatively close to airport, has a swimming pool, good breakfast, free shuttle!

That we didn't have the time to swim the way we did last year.

The proximity to the airport was very nice. The shuttle from the airport was extremely useful. We had 6 rooms. All of them were very clean.

Food at the restaurant was good. The hotel is dated but fairly well maintained. It is located 6 min away from the airport (driving). For one night, it accommodated my needs before flying back home.

Shuttle, breakfast, staff

AC was a little weak

Location- close to airport, great shuttle service from and to airportBreakfast- simple yet makes the job done Large and clean room on ground floor

Old style hotel

Close to the airport. Impressive looking.

The breakfast could have been more reach, but it was nice overall.
