Iris Hotel

Basically we liked the hotel, the rooms are not bad, clean and close to the airport, only 10 minutes. The staff is very friendly and always ready to help, the prices are low, the breakfast is good. Thanks to all the staff for their good attitude and quality service. I recommend.

At first there was a faint smell of cigarette smoke.

Location is great for airport. Breakfast was pretty good, staff was very warm. Especially George from reception.

Heating can be problematic

Hotel so close to the airport, reception desk kind and welcoming, ample space in the room....beautiful feelings on a bumpy trip.

Everything was clean and comfortable. Since I came in so late on a flight, the proximity to the airport was a definite plus. The morning staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was varied and good.

The man at checkin was grumpy, barely spoke, and offered not even a smile. That was my introduction to Greece. Luckily, he was the only one.

Close to the airport and off the street so the neighborhood was quiet. Good breakfast and nice staff.

We could hear other guests in rooms next to us, the beds were quite small and bring your own pillow.

It was clean with pleasant staff. The breakfast was satisfactory. It was close to the airport by Uber.

I had a half basement room. Very clean but minimal. Very noisy from the people above me who seemed to move chairs around all night. Definitely not sound proof. Therefore very little sleep.It was not an area for walking anywhere and no shop close for snacks or even dinner. A taxi would be needed.

We have stayed in this hotel several times. It is a great choice if you dont want to stay in the noise of the city. Comfortable, clean and silent rooms, good wifi, great breakfast and private parking space.

The walls are super thin, at 12 midnight I was woken by our neighbors who threw a party in their room. Until 3 AM all I could hear were screams and stupid jokes. (good thing that I had a flight in the morning at 5AM so I didn't need to sleep at all) JK, payed 1 night to hear screams and jokes.

This is super basic hotel if you need 1 night stay before your early flight and/or due to late arrival. We always stay here. There is nothing much to expect but nothing also beats the location. Good thing to mention, they renovated their bathrooms, not sure if everywhere but it was a nice bonus in comparison with the previous years.

It was perfect for my one night stay. It was close to the airport and cozy and comfortable. I especially liked the little balcony but beware of the mosquitoes. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was also delicious.

Bathroom was tight(little room between shower and toilet) causing the floor getting slippery.

We stayed here overnight to catch our early flight the next morning our room was massive very comfortable with air conditioning nice brand new bathroom very big balcony and very nice comfortable beds so it was perfect for the one night that we were in Thessaloniki. The price was great and they even had a nice Greek breakfast in the morning that hit the spot before we had to leave. When flying through Thessaloniki I will definitely book this hotel again.

Nothing. Maybe a paid shuttle to the airport would be cool.

Expensive. Really small bathroom, 2 separate beds instead of 1 family bed, not very comfortable road from the hotel to the bus stop

Arrived at 2am and just needed a bed for the night before traveling the next day. At just 5mins from the airport, it was easy. No frills. Tiny bathroom. Breakfast was great tho! This place did the trick. Its not a destination.

Its great for what it is. A cheap, clean, simple hotel to lay your head. If I were expecting more, I could complain the bathroom was too small with no where to put toiletries and a shower thats just the corner with a hole in the floor.

Small room

Iris Hotel is very basic but convenient for its location close to the airport. The staff were friendly, polite, and helpful, which we really appreciated.Rooms are simple, with small double beds and recently renovated but compact bathrooms.

Be aware that the first floor has a strong smell of cigarette smoke and feels a bit like a basement, with small high windows and little natural light. The second floor is much better, with balconies that make the rooms feel more pleasant. Fine for a short stay if you need to be near the airport, but not somewhere to spend more time.
