Not on the beach ,too far from attractions , abit outdated ,no music near pools or in lobby near bars

Location, friendly staff, shuttle, pool area

Drinks expensive, dinner buffet expensive and food overcooked and not right temperature

The view was amazing! Staff were great! Food was excellent! Rooms very clean and large.

The restaurant breakfast good, the evening restaurant menu the same every evening basically, the restaurant shuts every night at 9.30pm no exceptions!!

The managements response to problems

Bail Taormina was a great property to stay at during our trip to Sicily. The property is located on cliffs overlooking to see which private pools and beach access. Food was delicious. Loved the breakfast and dinner buffet and plenty of options to choose from. Staff is very nice and friendly, and having a parking was a bonus.

The address was confusing. It took us time to find the property.

Location and views were great. The staff was accommodating .

I found the breakfast underwhelming we had been to other facilities earlier in the week and had phenomenal breakfasts here was nothing more than a continental breakfast. The strict time table was annoying while being on vacation. Out of pool at 6p, closing of outside bar at 6p and dinner not open until 7:30. I did not like the fact that at breakfast you could not even take a cup of coffee and piece of pastry out of dining area and into the lobby.

The hotel is very nice and clean. Breakfast was very good with an assortment of hold and cold foods, fresh fruit, coffee bar made to order, The dinner buffet was excellent, with fresh fish and meats grilled to order, an excellent appetizer and salad selections, entrees, wonderful Sicilian specialties and keep room for all the outstanding Sicilian pastries m, cakes and cookies.

The layout and combination of many steps and elevators to get to the rooms.

There could be more than shuttle bus operating at busy times. Happy hour at bar before dinner would be nice.

Spacious room with large comfortable bed and wonderful view from terrace. Location in the hills with access path to small beach. Shuttle to larger beach and Taormina. Half board was delicious and included special dinner for Ferragosto! Roberto and his restaurant staff were just great!

Showers in Pool area could use some renovation, although we hardly used as we always went to the beach.

The view from the hotel is wonderful. The availability of a shuttle that takes you to and from Toarmina. The breakfast is nice and I enjoyed having breakfast overlooking the sea. Most of the staff were friendly.

The shuttle bus only has space for 8 people at a time, but you can only book 1 day prior, which made it nearly impossible to get a seat on the shuttle bus. If you don't get a seat, you're told to get a taxi back on your own expense. The quality of the dinner really needs to be improved. It's nice that they have many options for the buffet, but the food was almost always cold! ordered the fresh pasta, and twice my dish was cold. If you have nowhere else to go, eat there, but there are much better options in Taormina. The turnaround for new dishes to be placed on the tables is also on the slower side. Another downside was that we had a nice bedroom with a large balcony overlooking the sea and cliffs, but we could never enjoy it at night because there was no light outside.

Beautiful setting, great staff, large room with a great patio and view.

Would have like to see an option other than the buffet dinner. It was very good but sometimes we just wanted a small bite, not a full dinner.

When searching on Booking.com for Taormina, the hotel claims to be 750 meters from the centre. It is actually a 20 minute drive costing €35-40 by taxi each way. This is deceiving guests.We arrived to our room late at night, to find the toilet smelt of old urine, and the shower cubicle was not clean with black hairs on the shower wall. I went to reception to complain and was escorted to another room, by now it was midnight. In the room the toilet seat was covered in black particles and had also obviously not been cleaned. As it was so late we agreed to stay where we were until the morning, and the room would be thoroughly cleaned. We went out and returned in the afternoon to find the cleaner had been, but the black hairs were still on the shower wall. My wife then cleaned the shower herself. I complained at reception and was told the manager would not be available until the morning. I had a meeting with the manager in the morning before departing. The manager was pleasant, but after speaking to head office, was only able to offer a 25% discount off my next stay at one of the chains hotels. Of course, I will not be staying again.This was an expensive hotel at €220 per night. We were deceived on the location and had a room which far from lived up to expectations and was extremely poor value for money.

Beautiful views at the pool and during meal times. The staff absolutely went above and beyond. They were very kind and friendly, and made sure we had everything needed to make it a wonderful honeymoon.

There was a lovely lady singing every night which we enjoyed but would’ve liked some variety.

Beach was pretty, small stones and rocks. Sea was clean. Coffee and the barista in restaurant.

Breakfast-every morning the same kind of food, poor choices. Personal (waitresses) in restaurant was not really willing to help. Cleaning lady wasn't cleaning properly the room.

The most wonderful thing about the hotel is its personnel. Right from the first minute we were warm welcomed by very nice and professional Ms Alessandra, who made us feel like being home, meeting all our requests! As we were traveling with a child it was very important to feel comfortable and relaxed. We very appreciate it! The location is very comfortable and quiet just in 15 minutes drive from Taormina. I like that the hotel has been built on the slope not too far from the wild beach, where leads a private pass.
