Pros +
- The view is awesome by the water! Food is great at the restaurant
- Awesome location and amazing terrace for breakfast and sundowners
- the room has a nice little outside nook to sit, even if it was basically on top of the restaurant if you looked left you had a great view of the ocean. the room was nice well decorated clean comfortable size, only the bed in our room was quite hard, harder than just being firm. The bed in my parents room was softer. The location is great, so close to the sea and the cable car. The restaurant was nice and convenient. it is a very pretty place. The staff of the hotel were ok, not the most welcoming but not bad. The restaurant staff were nicer.
Cons -
- no door at shower? water always comes out. dangerous hazard for slides and fall
- The pigeons on the terrace - too many
- The mattress and that they didn't provide an iron or anything like that for clothing. The front desk staff was just ok they did not help with bags at all and my parents are pretty old. The did nothing to help us navigate the area, for example they did not recommend booking loungers at the beach (which is possible in Taormina unlike Cefalu) they did not provide a map, basically it was here's your key, bye. This is not enough to deter us from staying here again if we ever come back, I am resourceful enough to figure out other options, as the location was so great, and they place is pretty the view is great.

The location is excellent, I stayed beachside the first night and I was about a 10 minute walk to the best beach. The cable car is just a few minutes away. If I ever go back, I definitely stay beachside, Taormina city center can be chaotic during the day.
The location was really good. It is close to the seaside. You can walk to the most popular beaches in 3-5 minutes. If you want to go up to the center, the funnicular is really close. Location is perfect!
It was the most expensive hotel in our 2 weeks Sicilian tour and the room was pretty average. It is not new nor modern. There is no wardrobe. The window shades can be opened from outside which literally means if someone wants to see your room in the middle of the night, it is possible. The patio/balcony in front of the room was only dedicates to us, so this possibility is pretty low but life happens! The stuff was not smiling at all. The breakfast was 12 euros per person (which is a good price for Taormina) however the quality was really low. The service was really bad. We have asked for plates, then asked for forks, then for coffee etc one by one.
Good location. Breakfast was very good. Staff was exceptional.
Small rooms. No parking
Taormina was not the Oceanside Italy I expected.
View in photo didn’t provide ME with a good representation of the property and location. WiFi didn’t work in the room.
This guesthouse is in the heart of that scenic bay that is so picuresque and makes Taormina so popular . We walked down a flight of stairs and were right on the water's edge.
Next to cable car to Taormina center.Hospitable service.Clean room embracing towards seaside.
seaview is blocked by another hotel :D
this is a familyled small pension with pizzeria and ristorante, very close to Taormina, right by Isola Bella, the Funivia. wonderful location.
The location is perfect to reach the cable car and the beach of isola bella. The waiters are really nice and the food is awesome. We had a great time. Gracie mille
Excellent location 5 mins to the beach and cable car up to to the main town
The hotel has a service road for deliveries behind it which is very loud and often the deliveries are very early in the morning.
Avoid this place – not a hotel!
This property is, at best, a rundown hostel. It's filthy, filled with trash, and everything is extremely old and poorly maintained. The bathrooms are broken and unclean, and the doors don’t even lock properly, which made me feel unsafe. Overall, it was a terrible and unsettling experience. I strongly do not recommend staying here. Oh and it smells terrible too.
Nice hotel with a view of the sea. Rooms were spacious and clean. The breakfast was very good and it had a nice variety. The beds were firm and comfortable. The staff was pleasantClose to a variety of walkable restaurants. You can also enjoy a visit to the beach.
This place offers parking but it is limited, be prepared to find parking somewhere along the road and you will have to pay a small fee.
Location is great, few steps to the beach and Isola Bella, bus station, as cable card was in maintenance and close to Bus Terminal. Taormina is all about stairs, so you need to be prepared for them when you visit it. The owner was so nice and respectful. Our rooms were cleaned after 1st night even if we stayed only for 2 nights.
The stay was too short to enjoy all the beauty of the place
Great place with private parking. 50 meters from the beach and cable car.
Pro: very nice location, close to bus station (and cable car- but it was closed for maintenance), mini markets close by, close to the beach, and we actually had a sea view.We were able to park our rented car at the hotel for 15 euros per dayOut room was cleaned daily and towels changedConsThe room was very humid. The bathroom didn’t have any window or means of ventilation. This led to a lot of damaged walls due to humidity and patches of mold or rustOur room was very close to the hotel restaurant’s terrace and the entrance door to the room didn’t cancel any noiseAnd there was some limitation to the hot water. It was all well, hot, for a limited amount of time and then it got warm to close to warm ish. Haven’t stayed in the shower to see if it got really cold:) you had to wait for a recharge or don’t know what was it to have hot water again. We managed it fine but it was not that comfortable. All in all the hotel has a great location but i think we didn’t expected the mentioned problems at this price per night
Breakfast was good and it was possible to park the car in the street.
The room was too simple and empty for us. Some colors design and furniture would help.
The location was not as good as I thought it might be but the rooms with a view and shared balcony were nice. Roberto wears many hats and is efficient and friendly. The breakfast was good with a nice variety of options. We had dinner at the restaurant too and they have very good pizzas. We also shared the spaghetti with clams and it was very good. Roberto is very observant with his customers to think about what you might need before you have to ask. Thank you Roberto!
Location was good and the view from the restaurant was beautiful
My room was directly below the restaurant so every time someone would move a chair or table or even talk loudly, the noise was insane. Even with earplugs, this isn’t acceptable. Noise from 7am and then again until late. The girl on the reception was super nice, but everyone else was pretty grumpy and not welcoming at all.
