The hotel provided great value for the price paid. It was clean, comfortable and modern. The restaurant served excellent food for dinner. Rui (at the front desk) was amazing with all kinds of helpful tips on what to do and what to see.

The Turkish bath was closed during our stay.

The room was very clean and comfy. The selection of pillows was a very nice touch. Decent breakfast. Blackout curtains great!

We found parking every night, but the hotel doesn´t have much parking. Could not order different types of eggs at breakfast.

A wonderful and very clean hotel, with very respectful staff, excellent services, and great prices.

breakfast paid, anywhere you can get. room okey bathroom side no lock even you are couple but need privacy. shower pipe is broken and splash water all over bathroom slippery floor make more danger after wet be careful after shower. spa you need to pay in so called FOUR STAR hotel except air nothing is free. car parking outdoor at your own risk and hotel parking also at your own risk but have to pay per night.

location too far from main town

Not so much a complaint but more of a recomendation. The garage is small and not easy to park if you have a bigger car. Since its also paid for I recomend looking for parking outside. It´s free, safe and there are plenty of spaces.

The price was a good for value. The staff was polite and helpful.

Located relatively far from the city center.

Compared to similarly-priced properties in the US, this was the Taj Mahal. Snowy white sheets, soft carpet, beautifully equipped bath, room service…. The only reason this hotel is not getting 10 across the board is that the food was bland. My Caprese was just crying for salt and balsamic, and the pannacotta had too much sugar and gelatin.

What I like in axis is the dinner place which is open until 2230 and has really good food and I always have a super good night of sleep.

The hotel was nice & food great. Unfortunately not all the spa was in full working condition I.e. jets in pool however it was still a nice reward after completing the el camino walk

Fully functioning spa

Excellent room, clean and beautiful. The staff were also excellent and very helpful. I enjoyed the stay. However, the hotel does NOT have an airport shuttle and that was one of the reasons why I chose it. I had a late flight and I wanted an easy trasfer to the hotel as part of the hotel stay.

The room was pleasant, clean and confortable. I appreciated that an early morning Taxi was booked for me and arrived on time to deliver me to the airport.

The state of the Spa was not great. Looked good on the surface but there was a charge for shower cap and slippers which felt like an unessesary and unexpected charge. Also had to pay to enter the Spa and not feee to use with our stay. The staff we not very accomodating considering the fact that when I payed for all of those extras to go in the amount of chemicals in the 'pool' was so over bearing I couldn't get into the water as my eyes were burning from entering the spa. I decided to try and escape that by entering the sauna/steam room. Unfortunately the Sauna was cold, and the Steam room extremely hot and had what looked like a car exhaust that was pumping out unbearable heat that was burning the skin on my ankles on the entrance to the steam room. It only made sense to leave and protect myself as everything seemed a danger to my well being, not a relaxing Spa that offered a space for self care. The Spa was the reason that I chose this hotel for my stay. I left the Spa and mentioned to the lady on the desk that it was unacceptable and I wasn't going to pay for the service and all the extras that I could not use and because I had taken the slippers they said they were used and would be charged and they were less than meeting the level of customer service that you ouwld expect from this level of hotel and the price it cost. The location was quite out of the centre also but that can't be helped. I wouldn't stay there again.

Breakfast room too small to so many rooms

We had not cleaned bath and shower cabin in room 701.There is also some crack in the ceiling which is better to be fixed. Stuff at the dining room was very welcoming and caring.Ah yes, by pictures on the site it was much bigger and nicer rooms than in fact.

We had a fantastic stay at Axis porto. All staff were very welcoming, professional yet friendly. Nothing was too much to ask for and they went out their way to make our stay special. We were able to relax and forget about everyday worries. The food is delicious and the service is exceptional. The beds are really comfortable! The hotel is spotlessly clean. It is located from a short uber ride from the airport and well connected to the city centre. Buses and train/metro station are only a 3-7minutes walk away.

There is nothing I could fault, everything was perfect.

Breakfast was excellent just like the wait staff. Everyone was super helpful.

The security lock on my bedroom door didn’t work.
