About

Occupying a building which dates back to 1368, this traditional, family-run hotel in Stühlingen lies at the gateway to the southern Black Forest nature park, right at the Swiss border. Ideally located for visiting Schaffhausen and various popular attractions, the renowned Landgasthof-Hotel Rebstock offers romantic, tastefully furnished guest rooms with free wireless internet access. Now in their third generation, the family owners look forward to treating you to home-brewed schnapps and fine, regional cuisine in the rustic restaurant with beer garden. A wide range of leisure activities are available nearby. The bus station Stühlingen Rathaus is next to the property.

    Pros +

    • Staff and room ,quite big. Big TV and clean toilette.
    • Comfortable room, excellent price
    • The hotel is situated in an ancient structure and we found it really well renovated. Everything was new. We had a quiet room. The bathroom had a window which one could open and it was also possible to sleep with an opened window during the night. What we found nice was that there was no external light source shining into our room which would disturb the rest at night. The dinner which we had at the hotel restaurant was tasty and the breakfast was also nice.

    Cons -

    • Breakfast could be better.
    • Lack of elevator to my top floor room
    • Actually there is nothing I would want to criticize. We really had an all together peasant and enjoyable stay. I think what perhaps some persons would need to know is, that I did not see an elevator (our room was in the first floor and there were more floors). In addition perhaps what some persons may need to be aware of is, that at least the rooms we had were across the street from the main building.

Fantastic old building. Renovated, but mixed old and new things leaves special feeling. Kind and helpful staff.

Nice buffet breakfast, included in price. Cosy rooms, made a real effort with the furnishings. Nice location. Owners very friendly - we arrived late on the first night and they didn't mind being called several times to answer queries. Also offered free drinks.

    Nothing really

Everything about Hotel Rebstock was fabulous. The property was immaculate. Everything was there that you need for an overnight stay or longer. We had access to a washing machine & dryer. The rooms were spacious and well appointed. Comfy beds and a tasty breakfast with plenty of options to suit all the family.

    Having to leave.....❣️

Good location and spacious room. Very quirky building as it housed a collection ofmuseum items.Breakfast was very good and evening meals were excellent and very reasonably priced .Hostess was very pleasant and helpful.

Would have liked an extra pillow available in the room.

The staff were so friendly, so welcoming, so helpful. Great breakfast options included in the price. Wonderful dining room options for evening meal. Wonderful old world charm and ambience about this hotel.

Not sure I can provide information here. Certainly a short but toughish up hill walk out of the main town area to the hotel. Challenging to get luggage up stair cases to second floor for accommodation.

This is a little gem, tucked away in a small village. The host’s are pleased to help in any way they can. Highly recommend the evening meal, served in the sunny courtyard. Breakfast was good, so much to choose. Very comfortable bedrooms, spotlessly clean. The bonus for us was room in the garage for our 3 Vespa’s. would highly recommend this place and stay again if in the area.

There is nothing not to like.
