A true German hotel

Super cute and quaint. I wasn’t sure what to expect but the staff was super friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was excellent, the family room was spacious with a community sitting room and fridge. Perfect for our road trip thru Germany.

The apartment for the four of us was wonderful. It was very spacious, comfortable, clean, and bright. The breakfast in the morning was delicious. The surrounding countryside was beautiful. Easy drive in to visit Rothenburg.

Easy drive from Rothenburg. Easy parking right at hotel. Great shower, beds comfortable. Breakfast was pretty basic, bread, cheese, meats, yogurt, hard boiled eggs.

The room was fine. Very clean. It was comfortable. It was only a few kilometers from Rothenberg Altstadt. Good breakfast. Nice staff. Very quaint and German.

Warning to older people: steep stairs with no elevator. Hard to get luggage up. The other thing is they put in new vinyl flooring in rooms, and you could hear people walking in the other rooms, a creaking sound. Also, no restaurant for dinner, but they did recommend a very good place not too far a drive away.

Lovely staff, nice breakfast and pleasant rooms. The family room is spacious, with an attic housing a second double bed, and a decent sized living area.

The family room we rented is up multiple sets of stairs, and was away from the main building. Not a major issue for most, but just something to keep in mind if travelling with elderly or those with limited mobility.

We stayed at this hotel on the way to and back from Austria where we spent our ski holidays. The family room was big and comfortable. It is very close to the cute city Rothenburg op ter Tauber. Breakfast is good. Staff is very nice. My son forgot his bank card and ID there and on the next day we got a phone call informing us they have found it. There is one charger for electric cars, but it needs to be reserved.

Not a big issue but when we asked if there was a charger to electric cars it was not informed we need to reserve it, so when we got to the hotel on our way to Austria it was already taken. On the way back, we reserved it and it worked well.

Short way out of town, quiet. Excellent breakfast

Location - quiet and nice neighbourhood. Lovely house. The staff was very kind to upgrade us to a larger family room (though we did not take it up as the stairs were difficult for our heavy luggage), and helped to change back to room on ground floor.

A special place, with a very quirky atmosphere. Friendly staff. Quiet location, a few minutes drive to Rothenburg obder Tauber.

It's in a cute village only 11 minutes from Rothenburg. Most people have a car that stay there but there are buses during the week. Amazing historic inn. Wonderful breakfast. Welcoming and genuinely nice staff. The bathroom was renovated and we had an awesome bath tub.

Maybe just the bed was a bit unsupportive.

The accommodation is so beautiful. Everything inside is made of wood, the furniture is authentic. In the morning you can hear the church bells and the crackling of the wood floor and stairs. A beautiful breakfast awaits you in the morning in the rustic dining room.

We were visiting nearby Rothenburg o.d. Tauber. The Hotel is only five minutes by car in Steinsfeld, a small scenic Village. The rooms were exceptionally clean, well equiped, spacious and very warm. Breakfast in an antique decorated hall was perfect. Higly recommended, especially for families...

Not staying a second night...

A very good option for visiting Rothenburg. Just 15 easy minutes by car. Previous reviews made me doubt the breakfast, but I was pleasantly surprised: a good selection served in a traditional Bavarian setting. No cheap jams in plastic wrappers or re-heated rolls. We would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel.

Convenient location for Rothenburg without being in the bustle of the town. Lovely and peaceful except for the church bells! Friendly and helpful lady on reception and attending breakfast.

Would have loved to have tea / coffee facilities in the room. Otherwise perfect stay

It was more than our expectation. I requested lower floor for my wife and daughter, they provided a suit on ground floor in separate building. İn a quite village close to Rothenburg. A super breakfast.Quite sure it aill be our preference for close trips.

The family room worked well for our family. We loved the charm of the hotel. The breakfast was delicious and the staff lovely. The room was clean and the bathroom was quite large!

The pillows were very flat, 2 per person would have been better.

Good price. Delicious breakfast. Friendly staff. Great location along the romantic road easy to get to many cities nearby.

No AC but they gad a good fan. bathroom was out of date but still usable.
