1. Room was not ready when we arrived after 4:30pm - supposedly check-in started at 3pm. so we had to sit in the lobby - no apoligies or offer for a drink while we had to wait.2. Then we went to the rooftop and ordered drinks. The bartender had to run to the main bar for glasses and then after making the drinks for some reason he could not charge it to our room or take cash or a credit card. The bartender agreed that we could pay later. Then at 10:30pm just after we had gone to bed, the bar or front desk called looking for their month - we had 3 more nights there so there was time to take care of this and calling that late is unacceptable.3. Although we had to wait for the room, towels were dirty, shower soap dispenser was empty and there were no coffee pods.4. The next day I asked 2x for housecleaning to service the room - did not get room service until our 3rd day.5. Needs a good deep clean - see example phot below, grime in edges/corners of bathroom sink.Although not a good overall experience, staff was friendly and courtious.

Wasn’t close to a beach , not much English from staff.

There were a few times when we heard noise mostly from room next door. The shower drain ran so slowly that the water pooled around my feet and almost spilled out of shower. There was some black mold in the corners of the sink and the grout in the shower. The shower pan was cracked and caulked together. The whirlpool was not even warm.

It had a nice lobby

They had no drinking glasses. They didn’t replace the coffee cups daily. No water bottles were replaced daily.

Rooftop was incredible and the view was stunning.Bedroom was spacious and clean.

Breakfast was ok - not too many options.We had a loft on the top floor and I slept downstairs on the sofa and It was super hard and umcomfortable.

Great location, nice rooms. The pool and hot tub are tiny but phantastic views!

In the evening there are professional ladies standing in the street, but it didn't feel unsafe.

they didn't help us with early check in despite having mentioned that we traveled from another country and house keeping was very late

The room was clean, quiet. Water in the fridge. Easy access parking. Very central.

The breakfast was a bit simple. All hot dishes were cold or lukewarm. Coffee was awful. I would not book here with breakfast included again. I would rather go to a coffee shop in the city. This breakfast was overpriced for what was on offer.

The location was perfect and the staff was amazing and helpful.

The rooftop bar was not in operation due to the season we were told. Also, the cleaning staff did not replace the washcloths each time they cleaned the room but otherwise, they did an amazing job.

AC Marriott is in excellent location , staff is very friendly , Isis was very helpful!! Clean facilities, very comfy bed, Overall great experience, would definitely recommend!

The AC Marriott hotel in Panama City Panama was a great relaxing, and convenient stay!! The staff was incredible. My only regret was that I didn't take advantage of the rooftop pool!!

Staff do their best, within their means to make sure you are enjoying your stay with them. There was a misunderstanding with our reservations . The reservation on booking .com included queen size bed, breakfast included. The hotel does NOT have queen size beds only King and full size beds. It also came to our attention that breakfast was not included via reservations made via. Booking.com. Staff did their best to accommodate us and included breakfast but were not able to exchange the (3) rooms we had reserved to king size beds not because the were unavailable but because they had not been cleaned . (Shortage of staff???) we were there 4 days. As mentioned , staff did their best within their means to make our stay comfortable.

I wrote a letter of concern to Marriott regarding the above. Additionally, our room had water damage in the bathroom and so they provided another room. The a/c in that room did not work and we had to repack all of our things and go back to the original room because there were no clean rooms available. After traveling all day, we had to unpack and repack our things various times, move ourselves from room to room and in between all of this I had to keep going from our room back to lobby to return keys requested because they did not have anyone to go upstairs to pick up and they urgently needed to reuse them as they had limited key cards. The key cards failed opening the doors various times in all (3) rooms we reserved. Add to this that there is no a/c in the elevator. (Fan circulating air, perhaps) .Marriott responded to my concerns with a voucher worth 25$ USD….. perhaps one day upon a return trip to Panama I can order a cocktail with the $25 voucher…
