The Executive Hotel

The staff at this hotel was amazing! I was traveling by myself but both the day and night desk staff, and Bennie (transportation) took excellent care of me. The room had an amazing balcony view of the city skyline. Beautiful pool area. Tasty breakfast!

The only thing that I did not like was that I had to go home!

Room was comfortable and location was good.

Breakfast food was cold. Scrambled eggs every morning was cold.

The breakfast was good but the coffee area created a bottleneck because the creamer was right beside it instead of slightly down the counter to make space for the next person to pour coffee while the previous one poured creamer. The french toast was delicious and the stir fried veggies were a wonderful addition to the eggs. A nice selection of breads also and I appreciated the oatmeal and toppings.

We were a group of 12. We ate our final dinner in the hotel restaurant. I was the last of 12 to recieve my dinner. I believe they forgot my meal. When I finally got food, most of the group had already finished eating their dinner. I had ordered salmon and when I cut into it with my fork, the inside was uncooked. I touched it to verify and it was COLD! They had thrown a frozen fillet on the grill and it wasn't cooked all the way through. I assume they were rushing because they forgot my meal. I brought it up to the bar and showed him the still-frozen center. By the time he returned with the re-grilled salmon, every person at the table of 12 was done eating and just waiting around for me to get my food. This time it was actually cooked but the experience had been ruined for me.

Always clean quiet location with friendly staff, excellent restaurant service!

The Staff!! The staff was professional, helpful, and kind!! Very nice.

Oh and if you’re a light sleeper it’s not the property’s fault but there is a club next door that plays really loud music all times of the night. They play it so loud and with so much bass that it sounded like it was in my room at 2am and I was on the 9th floor. A very kind Gentleman that works the front desk move me to a higher floor because of the noise, but unfortunately they was a terrible mildew smell coming from the carpet or vent in my room. I noticed the terrible condition of the carpets mainly in the hallways but a little in the room too!??The carpets are way overdue to be replaced! That may have been the reason for the old mildew mell I was smelling. I thought to myself it looks like an episode of Forensic Files. ?? However, the Breakfast was really good they had great selections and the Staff at the front desk was excellent!!

Nice location and wonderful restaurant. We enjoyed walking in the area, and it was easy to get an uber to visit the historical area, Canal Museum and the Mercado. The pool area was also very nice.

Financial district is good for safety and transportation. Also the breakfast was good.

The staff. I thought they were doing the bare minimum and did not go out of their way to make our stay pleasant.

The food at the restaurant was good, the pool, steam room and workout room were great and our room was clean.

While others have shared positive experiences, ours was mixed. Staff throughout the hotel was efficient, and the front desk was cordial and professional. However, interactions in the restaurant during dinner and breakfast felt unfriendly, and even when we smiled or tried to engage, staff often seemed disengaged.We appreciate how hard everyone works AND we understand there are language barriers, but at another hotel in Panama City, simple gestures like smiles and greetings and engaing in brief conversation in both languages made us feel truly welcome. Because we didn’t feel welcomed here, we wouldn’t choose to stay at the Executive Hotel again.

There was a lot around the hotel, free breakfast and good restaurant

My reservation said it was a free shuttle and they said they don’t offer that service so we had to take a taxi to and from the airport and I only booked this hotel to be near the airport and for free shuttle and it was neither. Also one elevator that was too busy that we had to always use steps

I really liked staying here! The staff are really nice, the restaurant is excellent, and the rooms are complete and the beds and pillows are soft and very comfortable. The bathroom and shower are fantastic! Instant hot water and good water pressure. The pool area and gym are nice.

The air conditioning was very powerful and the thermostat didn't seem to work.

I killed a roach and I informed the front desk and they did nothing about it. They said that someone was going to come to the room, but no one came. Also the food was very salty.

The room was nice. Breakfast was good. Staff at the breakfast were very friendly. Check out was very fast.Location was good in city Panama minutes from metro and bus station. The lady that cleaned both rooms was nice and friendly Heidi. Next trip will stay here again.

Nothing to complaint.

Nice breakfast and starts at 6am! Nice size room with a small balcony. Great bed with lots of pillows. Good lobby and bar area.Very good location in the city and a safe feeling in the area. Lots of restaurants near by with a good variety.

Staff had trouble with English, surprised for a big hotel in the center of the city. Other than that, we were pleased.

Friendly staff willing to help.

Lack of maintenance, noisy AC makes hard to sleep. Heavy traffic hinders access but it seems to be a condition of all tourists areas.
