It's a beautiful and cozy hotel just a few minutes from the center of the city. The rooms we're very clean and comfortable! The stuff very friendly! Everything was perfect! It absolutely exceeded our expectations and we will definitely visit again!

Kind people and clean comfortable rooms.

The rooms are really beautiful and close to laundry and cool restaurants and shops, nothing is too far of a walk. The staff is very friendly and helpful as well. There is a one person elevator in case you're too tired from Camino walking.They also have great guide books throughout the hotel, if I had more time I'd definitely take the funicular up to Saint Luzia!

It is right by a big road that gets noisy, earplugs and closing window and window panels helped a lot.

It was in a great location and the staff are nice

It is older and so sound travels very easily

The breakfast was excellent with fresh fruit, juice, yogurt , cheese and meat, pastries and many other items. The staff kept watched over things well and refilled everything as needed.

Bathrooms could use to be updated.

Not enough electric outlets

The location was excellent for me because the next day I needed to be near the trains to get to my next destination for a Camino rest day.There was lots of ATM machines, shopping because I needed new readings glasses. Restaurants so close, and the front desk were very helpful with all my questions. I would highly recommend

Great hotel with comfy beds & a lovely breakfast. Rooms and furnishings are older style but everything spotlessly clean.

Good breakfast, nice rooms, good location

Nice clean hotel on the Camino. The Rooms were basic but decorated very nicely. I had a double room. No view of any kind, just a narrow street with buildings. Hair dryer was old, but thankful there was a hairdryer. Breakfast is included. This is a pretty hotel with basic accommodations. But, a perfect stay on the Camino!!

Great property, awesome location and staff. I stayed here for one night while walking the Camino and it was a beautiful place, close to restaurants.

Staying at Hotel Jardin Viana do Castelo was pretty flawless. Beautiful old hotel building with all the modern comforts. Spacious room, loved the windows with a view. Bed and beddings well affixed and very comfortable. Room was dark and quiet. I loved the excellent breakfast provided in the morning - so helpful to pilgrims wanting to start walking. The staff were all very congenial and helpful. They went above and beyond in working with me in how I might retrieve a minor item I left in the room.

Great location for Camino. Also the room had lots of space to hang clothes to dry and a dehumidifier helping that process

The bed and the pillows were a bit hard.
