Hotel Areias Claras

restaurant onsite, laundromat within walking distance

the room was a bit damp

My room was clean, the restaurant served delicious food and the staff were all friendly and engaged. The breakfast was outstanding with many options to choose from.

The view from my room was another building

Loved being right by the water, and the on site resturant. Good food. The room was very comfortable.

Breakfast was included & there were lots of choices. I loved the oldness of the building. Its right by the beach & they have a restaurant. It was very good & reasonable. It’s beautiful.

Can’t think of anything.

Friendly staff, super comfortable bed and sheets, great location near beach and next to a local bakery/restaurant. Best breakfast i have had to date, included in hotel price.

After a long day on the Camino I was thrilled to find a comfortable bed, a hot shower, and a beautuful view of the ocean! The room was just the right size, well appointed, and immaculately ckean. Plenty of options for dinner nearby, and a delightful breakfast the next morning before getting back on the trail.

I found nothing wrong

Friendly staff, ready to help. They prepared the breakfast earlier to be able to leave in the morning.Very nice breakfast Close to the beach and close to the pilgrims route

With the cleaning can be improvements.

Very quiet with a perfect location. Excellent breakfast.

It was a good location with laundry and groceries nearby , right on the Camino, great sunset

Cafeteria breakfast was not enjoyable

Onsite restaurant. Super kind and helpful staff.

Very humid. Wool blankets (I’m allergic)

Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast is included. The Polvo was superb...far better than what I had in Porto! I'll have octopus sandwich to take with me for my camino lunch. The staff marked my room number on the to-go box and placed it in the fridge for me! I wished I had chosen this place as my extra Rest Day!

The location was great, the on-site restaurant was amazing, and check-in and out was smooth.

We had one small issue with a slow shower drain, which we reported to the staff before we checked out.

Great location and restaurant was good and staff friendly

Very thin walls and others were loud. Hard beds

Wonderful place, helpful staff, on the Camino, helped us when we said we wanted a second night to enjoy the beach. Nice restaurant attached to the hotel, laundry facilities nearby.

Great location. Excellent dinner menu. Super friendly team.

This was a lovely place just down from the beach and right off the Camino. The bed was comfortable. The staff were great. It also has a restaurant so you don’t have to go out. Breakfast was included and there were lots of choices.

Clean well appointed room. Comfortable. Simple but good breakfast.

Couple of missing things for a uk visitor, tea making/hair dryer.

The staff were so friendly and helpful. The room was beautiful. Breakfast was included and was amazing.

The room was nice, old hotel with beautiful wood stairs, but facilities were modern. Breakfast included and was very good, generous. Bar and restaurant on site which was welcome as the weather was awful

The beds could be improved by a 1 inch foam topper.

The Hotel Areias Claras is located in the small town of Amorosa and along the Portuguese Camino Litoral. It's a lovely location, right on the ocean and for a two star hotel, it is very comfortable and clean. In addition, the included breakfast is very nice.
