    Pros +

    • Location, decor, staff.
    • Beautiful scenery it was truly breathtaking.
    • So many things to love about this hotel! Location, location, location. Having a private space on the beach that was yours for the whole stay, a room that was clean, and we could listen to the ocean, and the staff were so attentive and really cared about their customers!

    Cons -

    • They do not have a taxi service at the train station. My husband and I did not know that we needed to contact the hotel for a shuttle to get to and from the hotel, as it’s a 7-mile drive via car. We were practically stranded at the train station trying to figure out what to do which really freaked me out. I know this is a tourist destination for many Italians, so perhaps they don’t attract many people from other countries. However, it was really scary, and we almost decided to take another train back to Rome. It really ruined the entire trip, and we ended up coming back early. The only other thing is the flies on the beach not the hotel's fault but almost impossible to lie out and enjoy the ocean.
    • The beds were a little hard, but with all the other amenities.
    • Our room was right on the parking lot and very noisy!

Beautiful spot to spend a week with my husband ?

Our room was right on the parking lot and very noisy!

Beautiful property, clean, good breakfast, nice to hear the ocean right outside our door and on the beautiful terrace.

Probably one of the finest boutique hotel experiences we’ve had. The location is fantastic, but what made it so great was the hotel itself. The attention to detail of the decor, the friendliness of the staff, the views….i could go on. I think a travel magazine should visit and do an article on the hotel. I could get lost looking at the ceramics, the art and the stunning flowers.

Everything done with so much attention and care ?.. you rarely see such dedication in a hotel ; from the staff , cleanliness and beautiful gardens and flowers; the small details .

Beautiful property. Location is superb. Parking is easy. Beach was lovely. Our hotel room was recently renovated and very well organized. Food was outstanding!

This hotel is so special. Everything about it is amazing , the location, the decor but most especially because of the wonderful genuine friendly staff. They are exceptional and I hope that they all realise how valuable they are to the success of this hotel. We were welcomed with such warmth by Manuela( senior) at check in. Everything cwas explained with good humour and patience. And thars how it continued, each staff member was friendly and genuine and most helpful.

The shower unit was a little on the small size. But manageable.

The staff were friendly. I also loved that they had a gym with free weights and a good selection of equipment. It’s sometimes so difficult to find.Breakfast selection was great too!

The room wasn’t really replenished well, we had only one towel and couldn’t be bothered to ask for another to be fair. Also the gym equipment was a old and rusty.Overall it felt a bit pricey for what you get.

Excellent family-run hotel with superb beachside location and highly courteous and helpful staff. Very good breakfast, overlooking the sea. Lovely garden and solarium.

    10CarolynPosted on: 6-10-2024

A beautiful hotel in every respect. The photos do not do it justice and we could not fault the hotel in any way. Perfect location right by the sea with its own private beach, beautiful room, characterful hotel set in wonderful gardens, attentive friendly service and spotlessly clean. We will definitely return.

Beautiful boutique hotel right on the beach. Loved the allocated sunbed system - no towels out at dawn at this hotel. Lovely bar with great bartender

Lack of air conditioning- we were told it didn’t go on until 28th June - our room had a fan and balcony doors but it was still very hot.

    10MarisaPosted on: 5-28-2024

We upgraded to a sea view suite and it was defiantly worth it - we basically overlooked the beach. The room was nice and big with an extra large bed and sofa etc but the view was amazing, we were so close to the sea!The staff were extremely friendlyBreakfast was a well stocked buffet in a lovely dining room with the option to sit on the balconyWe had lunch one day in the garden and it was deliciousThe beach area was relaxed and not too busy

Nothing - the hotel did not serve dinner but there are plenty of places around to get dinner - I believe this is why the hotel is only given 3 stars...it should be at least 4 star

Liked the location and staff were friendly

The overwhelming smell of sewerage in our room. Complained and staff came in and put some disinfectant in the room but it was still terrible. Would have been better to put us in another room. Spoilt an otherwise good stay

Very good breakfast. Wonderful solarium with perfect view of the sunset. Very clean beach with direct access from hotel.

Located on the beach, beautiful views. walking distance to a variety of restaurants. Hotel staff were fabulous... Can't thank them enough as they were so accommodating.

The Aurora is an exceptional hotel. The staff, the decor, the location, the rooms, the linens, the bathroom accessories....it is all top notch, first class. This is the hotel that is the model for how to operate and maintain a hotel. Clean, well-appointed, and tastefully decorated.

We wish we could have extended our stay (but we will definitely be back...soon)

    10JoanPosted on: 5-8-2024

The location couldn’t be better and the rooms were absolutely charming and immaculate. The decor of the common spaces was wonderful, airy and artistic. The staff was wonderful! An afternoon beverage on the terrace facing the sea was not to be missed! I just wished I could have stayed longer!!!
