    Cons -

    • The hotel does not have its own parking, but a paid parking lot (15 leva/day) is available right behind the hotel. When we arrived, we were surprised to be told that the reserved room was no longer available, but we received a free upgrade to an apartment. The young woman at the reception did not speak English, but luckily another lady from the staff came, who was very kind, spoke English very well, and provided us with all the necessary information.
    • The toilet were very dirty
    • First floor rooms may be noisy in summer and provide limited privacy

Nice room with pool, clean towels provided every day. Good value for money and great location, about 100m from the beach and restaurants. Clean pool and bar available.

You can only pay by cash even though the property lists card options. It can be unpleasant if you don't have enough cash with you. The balcony is shared with other guests so that was a bit loud sometimes.

Lovely full length pool. Exceptionally helpful staff. Nothing too much trouble. Handy for beach, town, shops and eating places.

For £66 for three nights I wouldn't dare complain.

    9JamesPosted on: 9-26-2024

Everything was ok but the bar and restaurant was closed

Didn’t get the room we booked for and was asked for more money for another room

I don't like being cheated. And that's exactly what happened. We booked a room with a pool view and direct pool access to have a quiet night and let our toddler enjoy it. We drive 40(!) minutes to the hotel only to end up in a small room overlooking a football pitch and a noisy road. That was soooo disappointing. If the hotel staff do not communicate with each other and the person in charge of booking.com lists their property when there is none available... well guys you gotta do something about it. That is not the way to treat your guests. It's outrageous!PS Just checked the hotel's pictures again. The room we were given was nothing like those lovely cosy ones you can see on the website. Ours was too bad to look attractive right? Cheats!

    9SnezhinaPosted on: 9-20-2024

It was spacious, clean, and cosy.

    It’s near the beach

PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU BOOK Unfortunately, our experience at Hotel Onegin was far from satisfying. From the moment we arrived, communication was a major issue as most of the staff spoke only Russian, with the exception of one woman who spoke Bulgarian. The receptionist was unwelcoming, seemed uninformed, and lacked interest in properly hosting us.Our room was in poor condition. Upon arrival, the floor was flooded because they had left the fridge open, and the bathroom remained wet for seven days due to leaks from the toilet and shower. The room smelled of dampness, which caused us to have a blocked nose every day.The food was also disappointing – half of the menu items were unavailable, and when we ordered peanuts, we were served stale ones. As for cleanliness, we didn't receive room cleaning service for the first two days, and the staff at the bar were rude and indifferent. To make matters worse, our room was right next to the road, and the noise kept waking us up at night. Overall, the price-quality ratio was very poor, and despite the hotel's 8.5 rating on Booking, we were left very dissatisfied.

Location - 30 m to the beachRoom - was clean, cousy and bright.

Room's location. In the booking it was supposed to be last floor, but we were accommodated in the parter

    10IgnotasPosted on: 9-9-2024

Great location very close to city center. Just few minutes walk until you reach beach and restaurants. Apartment had everything you might need. I had difficulties to connect to local Wi-Fi, so just ask for help if you face same issues.

    3GeorgiPosted on: 8-30-2024

Location and prices were decent. The staff seemed nice and well intentioned.

This hotel is in Bulgaria but some of the staff only seemed to speak Russian and there were signs in Russian and English, but no Bulgarian. Staff seemed not to know basic things like what amenities were available to the hotel guests and were reluctant to state that the sauna and spa area cost extra and is only available after specific agreement. Jacuzzi was also only available from September. Although the hotel offers pool for the guests we had to bring our own towels as I didn’t find anywhere we could get extra towels for the pool area. Generally the level of cleanliness both in the rooms, the bar and the hotel as a whole was not good. Our bathroom did not seem very clean upon arrival. The rooms were outdated with the smallest tv I’ve seen in a hotel and a questionable WiFi router. There was no safe, or hairdryer. There was a fridge in the room, which was making funny noises all night long. The cabinet doors did not open because they were stuck, the shower was clogged and the shower cabin doors were not opening or closing properly. Oh and you couldn’t lock the bathroom door either. Funny I should mentioned but I couldn’t find any smoke detector in the room or the hallways, except for the ground floor. I thought these were mandatory. We only got one physical key upon arrival although we were 3 people. It was not possible to get extra keys for the room.

    The location

Apartments with “balcony” on ground level. Pool with not nearly enough sunbeds to accommodate the guest

    10RobinPosted on: 8-14-2024

The room and pool were perfect.+ Effective air-conditioning.+ Full kitchen and washing facilities+ The hotel is very close to the beaches and restaurants, and just off the pedestrian route into town.+ A 24h car park nearby.

Clean. Room in good condition. Good attention at reception. Check out at 12. Beach at walking distance.

No parking. Public parking in front at 15 leva per day.Room at ground level. Terrace facing street .

    7JoaoPosted on: 8-5-2024

It's basically in the center and very close to the beach.

I didn't like the fact that our balcony was on the ground floor basically could be accessed by anyone on the street.

Great location close to beach. Good pool area and comfortable room.Studio room with washer was a fantastic extra

    9SilviaPosted on: 7-23-2024

Great place, excellent location just 2 mins walking from the beach. New facilities, enormous swimming pool, very friendly stuff. There is a small kitchenette with everything needed. And a coffee place on site. Bonus they offer massages too.

    Nothing to be mentioned indeed

    10ЯнаPosted on: 7-17-2024

The hotel is near the beach - 3 mins away. The pool is clean, having a little bar on the pool is really pleasing.

The housekeeping womens are very gentle womens, but housekeeping hours is not appropriate. Housekeeping hours around 14:00 -15:00 o’clock is bad for all resting guests
