Pros +
- The hotel is excellent and well worth the money. The spa with 7 different saunas is a heaven after long day of skiing (or afterski) and it was very peaceful there. The breakfast had both wide variety AND high quality local products, which is not very common in hotels. The hotel’s location is very good: walking distace to ski lift, near all services in the village, and still calm. Free and easy parking and free shuttle bus service from the hotel’s door to ski lifts. Super, thank you!
- The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Sophie from reception. Lovely spa are as well.
- Great service, amazing restaurant, amazing gym and shuttle service in the morning to the gondolas. Free parking also with chargers (though the charger parking does have a small fee per hour if you leave it plugged in).
Cons -
- The air in the hotel room was not as fresh as we would have hoped for, as it’s an old house.
- I was a bit disappointed, there was no swimming pool for the standard of the hotel one would be expected.
- It is uphill walk, so even though it’s ski in, there’s 50m of steep uphill walk after. No shuttle on Sundays but the bus stop isn’t far.

We had our ski week in Sölden and we decided to book with a hotel alpina. It's an amazing seamless experience from waking up in the morning in the gorgeous room, continuing with the amazing breakfast buffet, then getting escorted to the ski lift and then coming back from our long ski day through the ski-in slope to relax in the gorgeous spa area.
Given the amount of nice food shops around it would have been great to have a little refrigerator to keep the cured meats and drinks cold.
Location, breakfast, spa, free parking, spacy room
Noisy rooms (elevator?), receptionists approach
The bedrooms were very comfortable with lots of light, plug sockets in the right places and everything you needed. Lots of space. Restaurant was lovely and food delicious. We didn't use the Wellness Centre.
Bar area very brightly lit with lack of atmosphere we felt. Towels were thin and small - although changed daily
Awesome gym, great bed, helpful staff, great food.
Lovely hotel, great staff, great facilities and wifi plus excellent breakfast
We had a really nice stay at Hotel Alpina Sölden. The room was great, it felt very cozy and at home. Breakfast was superb, there was so much to choose from and all very fresh and tasty. The location was great, a little away from the busiest part of town so no noise at night. It was a little walk to the skilifts but not too far. In the morning the staff from the hotel would take us there by taxi for free, so that was really great. The staff was nice and helpful. Great hotel, I would recommend it to everyone.

The location is conveniently between two main cable car stations. The breakfast is great and the dinner is amazing. For the price, the usual 5-course dinner is almost Michelin standard and astonishingly good value. The sauna and Jacuzzi are perfect for a ski holiday. The hotel is owned by the same family Riml as the ski rental shops, so one also gets discounts in renting a depot and ski services.
The room is a bit old fashioned compared to all the wonderful facilities.
Very good breakfast and dinners, nice staff, clean spacious rooms, close to ski lifts
Lovely breakfast, great location, helpful staff, clean rooms, some parts of the hotel are renovated
Old rooms, dinners were not so good
Breakfast was nice and the wellness area had a lot of variety to relax and rejuvenate after a hard day of skiing. The fact that the hotel offers transport to the lifts in the morning are a great help!
No tea/coffee facilities in the room which would have been great to warm up after a day of skiing
Good facilities, secure parking for motorcycle, friendly and helpful staff.
Our stay at Hotel Alpina Sölden was perfect. The Super Double Room was a great size, the beds were comfortable, and the bathrobes were useful when we headed down to the spa. The spa was also excellent, there were plenty of different kinds of steam rooms and saunas, a relaxation area and a hot tub. We also thoroughly enjoyed the buffet breakfast, which had plenty of choices!
Cosy room, fantastic breakfast buffet, lovely dinner (we only opted in once, as we wanted to explore the rest of Sölden), amazing spa facilities.Best of all, no children! This made all the difference. We had very bad experiences in the past, as parents seem to not control their children anymore. It was paradise to not have screaming, jumping and splashing children running around.Great location at the end of the slopes too, could basically ski back to the hotel door (20m climb up a hill to reach). Shuttle.service to either station also brilliant. No need to time a bus.Staff generally very friendly! Can't recommend more! Definitely would stay again.

Location
Communication was very poor from the outset breakfast time they positioned a table in the far back of the hotel restaurant areas with no windows or music staff were not very competent
The restaurant is top class for a sport hotel, half board is recommended. The welness is large and has plenty of options. One minute walk to the bus for the 2 skilifts and a 5 minutedrive, or take the hotel shuttle.
The rooms are too hot and the nearby river is noisy.
The hotel is amazing: excellent location, very nice and attentive stuff, clean rooms, very tasty breakfast and dinner. Also there is a big spa with many rituals. I was enjoying my stay!
The spa was nice, food ok, location good, boot room ok
the room was very old, you only got soap no other toiletries !! it was so noisy delivery's every morning 6 am and church bells at 6 am for 5 minutes every day and a 15 minute interval clock bell on the hour all day.the food was ok, but to complicated for skiers in the evening and the salad was poor.
