Pros +
- Great location - right opposite the Giggijochbahn. We stayed in the family room, which was really spacious with two separate bedrooms and a living room. The property was very neat and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. We had the half board option - the food was really fantastic

- Our stay at Hotel Sunny Sölden in Austria was truly delightful. The hotel’s location was perfect for us; it was not directly onto the main street, which we preferred, yet it was still a short walk to the lift up to the ski area. We appreciated the flexibility of dining without needing to book in advance, and it was incredibly convenient to order dinner during breakfast each day.The food exceeded our expectations in every way. Each meal was delicious, beautifully presented, and satisfying, ensuring we never felt hungry during the day or before bed. The service was exceptional, with attentive waitstaff in the restaurant and meticulous housekeeping. It was a pleasant surprise to see how the maids went the extra mile with bed-making and additional cleaning.A unique and charming feature of the hotel was the presence of pigs, which were well cared for and very clean. This added a fun and memorable touch to our stay. Additionally, everyone in our group thoroughly enjoyed the spa facilities, which were a perfect way to relax after a day on the slopes.

- Nothing we could think of
- No nothing comes to mind
- Room doors close quite loudly, could hear other guests in their room. Pillows could be plumper.

No nothing comes to mind
Five minute walk from Giggijoch cable car. The pool and saunas are excellent. Good dining experience. Piggies!
Room doors close quite loudly, could hear other guests in their room. Pillows could be plumper.
Location and food
Being charged €3 for tap water during dinner and being charged €5 per person for towel and shower on last day after check out. Usually this is complimentary.
The hotel has a nice spa. The meals and breakfast are really good. The hotel staff is really nice. Location of the hotel is so close to town and the ski lifts.
The location was very good. The food was delicious and the service was very good. The staff was helpful and very friendly. The spa was nice and clean. I can recommend this hotel for sure!
The only thing I think they can improve are the beds.
Good location , clean , the food is excellent especially the dinner !
Nothing to dislike.
Great location, very friendly atmosphere, delicious food.
The smell of the fondue restaurant downstairs was a bit present in my opinion.
Well run hotel with good and engaging staff. Food good, rooms good, service good. Good value for money.
Family suite was very large and comfortable. Lovely children's playroom and small modern swimming pool. Great personal service.
This year we decided to go skiing in Sölden. As always, we were a small group of 12 people: 6 adults (50+), 6 young people (22+), 1 child, and 2 dogs. We have been to Sölden before, but it was our first time at this hotel. The location is very good - quiet and close to the lifts and center. The facilities are good - large rooms, nice view from the window, a playroom for children, an excellent spa area with 2 large saunas, an excellent steam sauna, and warm stone loungers. If you have a dog - there is a path in the forest nearby for walks. Very convenient! And it's convenient that you could leave your skis and boots in the depot near the lift with a 50% discount from the hotel (1.5 euros for skis and 3 euros for skis with boots). A cozy lobby where we played board games. A large restaurant where they set a table for all of us. The service at the reception is excellent! Very friendly and polite! Also very nice barmen! The breakfast is very good. But only the breakfast!
Restaurant!1) All12 of us did not like the food during the dinners. It's strange because many reviews mention a wonderful dinner. Maybe there was a different chef, or maybe there were other reasons.. But we have been skiing in Austria for many years, in different destinations, mainly in Tyrol. Always with half-board. We have stayed in both 3-star and 4-star hotels. And it was always gourmet! And this is the first time we were very disappointed. It felt as if we weren't in Austria. The food was edible, but it wasn't 4-star hotel quality food.2) Service during the evening dinner.Very strange! The waiters were unprofessional. Especially, everyone was annoyed by the waitress Natty. And this is also a first for us in 16-18 years of ski holidays in our beloved Austria! In previous hotels, waiters with smiles and jokes created a warm atmosphere in the restaurant. This was completely lacking here. I think it comes from the manager.3) It was very hot in the restaurant. On the first day, it seemed that the ventilation or air conditioning was working, but the other days it was very hot.4) For the first time in our experience - there are no towels in the spa area. Presumably to save costs. Yes, one towel for the spa is placed in the room. But in all hotels, towels are available in the spa. One is not enough. It's wet there!!!Well, and as usual, in the spa, there are usually cups (at least disposable ones) for drinking. Not to mention that there were usually fruits and tea. Even in 3-star hotels.
Breakfast good, staff friendly
It is a dog friendly hotel, and our cleaner was terrified of dogs. She didn't come into out room for two days, and they only cleaned our room once we complained. It was a shame as everything else was good. They did give us money off.
Amazing staff, the best dinner in Austria, it should has a Michelin star for sure, comfortable location near the lift and a free parking that is a huge plus! And those little pigs living in the hotel were so cute! Definitely recommend and would love to come back
Would be nice to have new interior in the room itself
Breakfast buffet was great. Dinners good. Staff helpful and friendly. Our room was very nice, with a balcony and a view of the village and the mountains.A bonus was the presence of the 2 pet mini-pigs with an inside glass enclosure to view them, and an outside "paddock"
Charging for tap water at dinner, except when you bought a bottle of wine. Why so hot in the dining room?!Soundproofing between rooms not great (so we were lucky that the next room was empty most of our stay!)
Spacious. Good room sizes, nice bar , good staff
Dates features in the room could benefit from furniture upgrades. Food was always cold and had to send back many times to heat up
The groomed slopes were great, but no information
Too many moguls, no information about the condition of the slopes. It was very challenging on many of the slopes.
Lovely big rooms, excellent spa and good location
Food was average
Great location, good food and attentive staff. Every staff member was an individual character which added to the colour of the holiday. Easy access to the lifts and quiet in the evenings but with easy access to the town for anyone wanting nightlife. Great fondue restaurant as an alternative to the included food (extra charge) made for a special evening with the family.
It’s rare that I can’t find something to say that would improve the experience. The convention in the sauna area was for everyone to be naked, which is typical in Austria and gives us Brits an issue but that’s a cultural thing rather than a hotel thing. So, no, there was nothing I didn’t like.
Breakfast and dinner were good; WIFI connection in the room was very good; Location of this hotel is top; Hotel Manager saw to it that the participants of radmarathon were able to view the briefing the night before and offered to transport supplements in one of the marathon stops
room itself can be refreshed/renovated
