Svinøya Rorbuer

The property was beautiful. I little bit of the old feel with very friendly accommondations that were beautiful and comfortable. We enjoyed the property very much. The staff was friendly and helpful and the sauna was amazing!

I can't think of anything that we didn't like - it was a great stay. I guess the only regret is that we only stayed at this location one night and I wish we would have had a few days to stay here!

The old fashioned feel of the apartment was nice with the mountains in the background adding to the cozy feel of our stay. It makes a great base in which to explore Svolvaer and the Lofoten Islands.

The bathroom - particularly the shower needs to be cleaner. While the hair on the shower wall was minor, it was not a great experience to be greeted with.

Super quick check-in, super friendly staff and outstanding service.The rorbu is exquisite: super clean, modern and incredible views and peace.Excellent location as well with access to a sauna and restaurant even!

Good location for northern light. We saw it the first night of staying. They have very good breakfast.

There are many rorbus to choose from but I chose the one not close to the shore, thus the window views are blocked by another rorbu.

Quite and view

Bedrooms are too small. No place to open your suitcases

The living room is so cozy, especially in cold days. The location is close to supermarket and airport. We saw northern lights in parking space.

The property was beautiful and quiet. It was clean and well maintained. Staff was friendly and helpful.

A nice little apartment to relax in. The sauna was amazing and there are a lot of activities to do near the hotel. Gorgeous views and scenery on the little island.

Only downside was our “sea view” was mainly out of one tiny window.

Location was excellent! In fact, you don't have to walk very far to see the Northern Lights. There are areas around the Rorbuer that's less than 3 minutes away that is dark enough to see the lights. Very modern and clean interior.

Beautiful setting and spacious accommodation. I had double booked and felt so stupid. The staff was super friendly and were able to cancel the second booking I had made directly with them. They definitely did not need to do that and I appreciated their kindness and understanding.

The cabin is spacious, clean and has a complete kitchen to cook. Excellent location. WiFi service is great and easy check in. The view is amazing.Highly recommend!

LOVED the location and the size of the cabin. We didn't utilize anything other than the beds and the shower, but we were very impressed with what was offered. A full kitchen! We'll be back when we can stay longer!We ate at the restaurant for the one night we were there. Absolutely the best lamb chops we've had EVER!!! WONDERFUL STAFF!

Clean and comfortable cabins. Very picturesque with views of the ocean and mountains.

I liked that it was on a separate island from Svolvaer. The beds were very comfortanle and the interior looked nice.

No washer and dryer in the cabins but for a short stay its not a problem

Our cabin was right on the water and very spacious. It was so fun staying in former fishermen’s quarters (not all rorbuer in Lofoten actually are, some are just made to seem as if they were) —we loved the house!! It was wonderful to be so close to the water, every window had a spectacular view. The bed was heavenly and provided me with my best nights of sleep in the two weeks I have been traveling so far. We also booked the sauna and my whole family loved it!

Modern interiors, spacious, very clean, super comfortable beds, heated bathroom! Loved our stay.

Each accommodation we stayed in on our Norway trip was nice but this was one of the best! Lovely, comfortable, clean, cute rorbuer; we received a free upgrade to a 2-bedroom/2-bathroom cabin! The furniture and bathrooms were very tasteful and luxury. You could see that a lot of thought was put into furnishing the place. The kitchen was very well equipped. The view from the living room and bedroom was a dream come true. We could not have asked for more, thank you very much for everything!
