The hotel spa includes a sauna and a well-equipped gym, and the restaurant Stars offers a panoramic view over the lakes and the mountains. Each sleek, modern room has floor-to-ceiling windows opening onto a private patio. Also featured are flat-screen satellite TVs and free Wi-Fi, while some rooms have a seating area as well. Guests can relax in the steam room or with a beauty treatment in the Shanti Spa. Ski passes and equipment hire are available, and the nearest elevator is just 197 feet walk away from Nira Alpina. A choice of 3 restaurants offers menus including regional and Mediterranean cuisine, all with elegant surroundings. There is a modern rooftop bar. A free shuttle bus provides links between Silvaplana, Surlej and Corvatsch. The Corvatsch ski area is linked to St. Moritz’s Corviglia by a 2.5 mi ski run. Guests staying 2 nights or more enjoy free access to the cable cars and the public transportation in Upper Engiadina Region during summer season and get reduced ski passes directly at the hotel during winter season.

We had an amazing stay at Nira Alpina! Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary room upgrade. The hotel’s SPA is excellent, everything was spotlessly clean, and the overall atmosphere was very welcoming. The reception staff was incredibly friendly, polite, and helpful, making us feel truly valued as guests. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this hotel to everyone. One of the biggest advantages of Nira Alpina is its perfect ski-in/ski-out location. The hotel has direct access to the cable car, allowing guests to head straight to the slopes. There are also beginner-friendly slopes nearby, making it a great choice for all skill levels. Additionally, guests can purchase a ski pass at a discounted rate through the hotel, which is a great bonus! Another great convenience is the ski equipment shop located right next to the hotel, with direct access from the building, making it easy to rent or buy any necessary gear. Both the bakery and the restaurant at the hotel were outstanding, offering delicious food and great service. We didn’t book a transfer from St. Moritz train station as we weren’t aware that the hotel provided this service. However, on our departure, they kindly offered and arranged a complimentary transfer for us. Additionally, we were granted a complimentary late check-out, which made our departure even more comfortable. Our stay at Nira Alpina was exceptional, and we would love to return in the future!

    Cleanliness, friendliness of staff

The Italian restaurant was slightly understaffed over the weekend

Spacious, comfortable rooms that are cristal clean and can easily accommodate family needs. Many amenities placed in the room (Nespresso machine, snacks, books, etc.) however all of them for-pay, including water (there should be at least complimentary water offered to guests in the room..). The area is quiet at night hence adequate if one is looking for a relaxing stay. The staff is very hard-working and goes the extra mile to answer client's requests and accommodate the needs. Great parking space and easily accessible from the main road. Also the property is ideally located next to the gondola that makes the logistics convenient.

The air in the rooms was extremely dry we would recommend to add humidifiers. The spa was very small and cramped and its access should be more regulated hours of access e.g. once even 2-3 children are playing in there it becomes impossible to enjoy any relaxation anymore. On level 3 some rooms are located next to the cafe/epicerie and the smell there is very strong. The breakfast and italian restaurant food taste is average and quite bland despite staff efforts to provide home-made dishes. Location of the resort is quite remote from St.Moritz and Ubers/taxis are overrated and difficult to fetch. Forget staying at this property if you're considering daily trips to St.Moritz.Finally, the price per night is completely overrated for the season due to St.Moritz vicinity - for a 4-star hotel one would find way better deals in other ski stations in Switzerland.

The location is fabulous with great view over the Silvaplana lake and the mountains. Breakfast exceptional with always smiling and supportive staff. Great access to biking trails, hiking paths and kitesurfing... Highly recommended.

Nothing was wrong to write off. Entire experience was excellent.

Friendly staff with an open ear to help if anything is needed, amazing restaurant with very tasty dinner, great views. Also good value for Switzerland. Easy direct parking garage at the property.

No real complaints, the breakfast buffet could have been slightly bigger, there could've been decaf nespresso pods on the rooms. But that's just feedback on a high level.

    10DiwakarPosted on: 7-23-2024

Staff was great. Rooms were nice, breakfast was good and it is right next to the Corvatsch ski lift.Parking was great.

There isn't much to do around there.

Clean, modern hotel with family and accommodating staff. The views are fantastic.

The toiletries could have been better. The body soap and shampoo are the same formula and are very drying.

The wood-panelled rooms provide a very comfortable and pleasant living area. The restaurant offers magnificent views of the mountains. The staff were very friendly and professional.

It is a shame that no swimming pool is available. The hotel is quite a long way from the centre of St Moritz.

No vegan options at breakfast, even if they were informed and they assured us to be ready. No vegan cakes or specialties at the buffet (but fruits and cereals, obviously)The chef was totally unprepared. Its a pity because their market proposes lots of vegan cheese and vegan cold cuts. A bit upsetting

Location cannot be better: 10 meters from cable car, 10 meters from bus stop, and with a view of the Engadine. Breakfast is spectacular for both food options and panorama. Staff is excellent, multi-lingual, and very available to satisfy any request. Looking forward to be back next year.

The air in the rooms is a little too dry

Location Modern mountain hotel with great design , friendly staff and wonderful views.

Dinner service was quite slow and swimming pool is more like a big jacuzzi.

    9SarahPosted on: 1-6-2024

Breakfast was wonderful and the staff in the restaurant were so great.Rooms are small but modern and clean . If you are there with primary purpose of skiing the location is perfect.
