Hotel Chalet Evergreen

I liked the central location in Borovets, the beautiful alpine exterior and interior design, the tasty food and the book library, arranged in the lobby restaurant, offered to the guests during their stay.

Breakfast was excellent. Location is excellent. The staff is very polite.

Great location. The room of spacious with balcony viewing a gorgeous pine forest. The room was equipped with with fully functional household appliances. There were lots of power outlets for charging electronics. The WiFi connection was strong and fast. Everything was absolutely clean. The stuff could speak good English. Our short stay was convenient and pleasant. The breakfast needs to be mentioned in a special way. It was a full breakfast with variety of available food, much better than a usual continental breakfast. I will recommend this hotel to my friends.

Having a coffee Machine in the room might be a good idea. Although with a restaurant downstairs it was not a critical issue.

the hotel is located just near the center of Borovetz and is very silent at night . Dogs and pets are allowed but yuo have to pay an extra fee

bathroom was very old and small and not renovated at all! definatelly need a massive intervention and some investment to reach at least a decent level of presentation. The Cover blanket of our bed was full of dirtyness .

Perfect Hotel, perfect place, after one night in the hotel we went to the mountains for 6 days. We could leave a car at their parking spot for 6 days without problems and for free. They also have transfer car and managed transfer from where we finished hiking back to the hotel. Then we stayed another night here and went away.

Location of the hotel is very near the "center". Dogs and pets are allowed (with extra payment) . At night it was very guiet and without any noise . The lady at the lobby was very gently and with good english talked .

Bathroom was very "aged" and small and shower without a glass door but only with a curtian. Cover blanket of the bed was quite dirty . Definatelly the rooms need a renovation and especially the bathroom but for the litle money paid this is the ratio of the quality received .. Pitty, because the hotel could be much better with some investments

Great hotel near gondola. Staff was friendly and helpful. There is a children playroom for which we are very grateful. It's a good place to stay and explore Borovets.

The smell of the damp in the room and bathroom. Bad heating, cold. Food was not good, breakfast was the worst part

Cigarette smoke coming into bathroom via vent which then made the towels smell and the rest of the room. really not nice. our friends also had smoke in there room. curtains let in light too much and as there was a light on all night outside it was really difficult to sleep

The bathroom drain smelt terrible and was generally very old fashioned. Shower was with a curtain rail and didnt keep water inside at all. Generally the decor in the rooms was horrible, with faux-old fashioned styling that looked very fake and ugly. Bit of an issue with storing ski equipment too. Pros and cons here as initially we were flatly refused to store any ski boots /skis as they were rented (rather than owned), but after some 'discussion' they did kindly agree to store them for us. This should however have been standard for a hotel in a ski resort no questions asked.

Sauna and turkish bath provided were really good.Breakfast was pretty good! The free coffee was, well not so good but you could pay for an espresso which was good! Galina the manager was really helpful in anything we asked, we had a nice conversation. Most of the staff were with a smile and helpfull always.

The room smelled. I dont know if it was plain mold or napthalene or a combination of both. But we tried airating and nothing changed. Also the room was right above the restaurant area, at 2 oclock in the morning when we decided it was enough noice from a party downstairs, I went to the reception, woke up the receptionist (yeap) and told him its enough we want to sleep. Then for the next hour we had to wait for them to finish draging tables and chairs to make the place like it was. Then FINALLY silence.Finally one of the beds was in good condition. The other one was about to disintegrate. The bed and the matress itself were horrible, albeit both were clean and smelled fresh. The worst of all was during checkout.The receptionist at that time was one of the worst ever. I waited, gave the key, told her its prepayed from booking.com, said I had a double espresso to pay. I told her sure sure, card. She said pay at the restaurant. I said they have no pos machine. I patiently waited for 10 minutes because her pos wouldnt connect, she tapped the screen (which is not touchscreen). When I finally asked, she said its not her problem. I offered to pay in euros cash because I had no BGN. No. Card wouldnt work. So we left. Charge us the 4.4bgn, i am fine woth it. Anyway, worst closing experience and the thing that stayed with you after leaving.

Food. Breakfast was continental and same, but we were two nights and out of the season so this isn't a big deal. It was delicious. Dinner was excellent. Room was small but clean. Bathroom was clean and comfortable.Ok value for the money.

Stuff doesn't know English well. It was November so totally out of season, the weather was bad and the room was really cold.
