Reception could have a welcome drink in the non alco option as well, other than that no complaints at all. Just perhaps a little farther from the city - took me about 30 mins to walk other than that, taxi was convenient.

Location was fantastic. Staff helpful. Clean facilities.

Bed very hard. Room not cleaned one day.

We had a great stay together with our infant. All of the facilities were excellent, the breakfast was lovely with a great view of the sea and the receptionists were super friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and reclined thoroughly each day.

We loved our stay at Seth Agamenón. The location was epic, rooms seemed to have been recently updated and the breakfast exceeded our expectations.

The property is clearly very old and needs updates and improvements. Still, the staff makes an effort on keeping it clean and comfortable.

It was a wonderful experience. The receptionist was very good. She help us a lot for every request. She gave us a beach umbrella for free and she gave us 2 beach towel with only 20€ of bail.The swimming pool was really great!The view of the sea from the camera was excellent, we spent some dinner on the balconyThe shower was huge and really nice, there was a dispenser with the shampoo and the soap.Near the sink there was the dispenser for soap and the dispenser for the body milk.The breakfast was incredible there was every option to choose the brekfast to suit your tastes.

I think the only thing they can improve is to remove the moquette in the corridor, but this is subjective.

Loved everything about this hotel from the friendly staff to the quality breakfast, large balcony as standard, with views of the sea, everywhere spotlessly clean. The pool was large enough to swim lengths if you wanted and stunning views from the gardens.

Extremely overpriced for what your get. Definitely not 4 stars- maybe a 3 star hotel for the location. The buffet breakfast was inedible.

The AC didn’t work and even when advised that it was fixed it would stop working shortly after you switch it on and then makes the loudest possible noise making it impossible to sleep

Outside areas of the hotel were a little unkept / in need of an update.

clean room, modern bathroom with plenty hot water, air con worked and stunning views over the harbour from room, bar and restaurant. Food was buffet style and excellent value, not 50 mediocre dishes but 10 or so excellent options that not left to simmer all night but topped up as and when required so fresh and hot. location close to el estell with restaurants and bars. car parking available.

guests allowed to believe they had sole right to use of sunbeds around pool by placing their towels and book on lounger at 07.30 and then turning up when they wanted. hotel should remove towels if not being used when their is a demand for sunbeds

Good breakfasts, good shower, good views. The Agamenon is a perfectly adequate, if old-fashioned, hotel with a couple of good employees (Úrsula in reception, and the barman) and some others who frankly should consider a change of career. It also seems to have remarkably poor overall management, and unsatisfactory IT, as evidenced by the fact that a post-stay request for comments was sent twice to the same email address at the same time as a repeated pre-stay welcome message. Very amateurish.

Repeated requests for a particular bed type were ignored, resulting in a disastrous check-in process. The request was not for anything extraordinary, just a double bed as opposed to two singles. The reservation was made on 13 April and confirmed by three emails from the hotel. A double bed was requested. A number of emails repeated the request and were met either with no reply or a statement to the effect of "we´ll see what we can do". On the morning of 8 June my niece, a serving police officer and not prone to deception, visited reception and repeated the request. We arrived in the evening of 8 June, repeated the request to the duty receptionist who seemed bewildered and had no record of the request. He tried his best, showed us to a room which had twin beds at which point my wife and I became irritated at the level of incompetence (not the receptionist´s fault, this was a systemic problem with the hotel´s inability to assign bed types to customers requesting them). Eventually he discovered that a room with a double bed had been assigned to some guests who had not yet checked in, and gave us that room. The whole process took over half an hour, it was like something out of the third world in the 1970s. The following morning we approached reception to discuss the problem and were told (not by Úrsula, nor by the night receptionist) "I am here every morning and your niece did not make such a request, I never spoke to her."There is no language problem here; I speak fluent Spanish and English and my wife is Spanish. My niece also speaks both languages.Conclusion: the hotel´s management, or its IT systems, or both, need an urgent review and overhaul. Any business in the hospitality industry that cannot assign bed or room types to customers who have booked two months in advance needs to have a look at itself.
