    • Nice, spacious rooms and comfy beds. Nice balcony views.

    Cons -

    • The staff were not willing to help out with requests to reserve the bus tickets. The food was expensive.
    • The staff was a mix bag. One lady was amazing and the rest of the staff in reception was incredibly rude and mean. They need to change some of the staff
    • It was not properly cleaned. There was garbage in the bathroom bin and urine in the toilet. I was expecting a 4 star hotel and it was a 2 or 3.

Perfect location right in the historical center with a stunning cathedral view. The standard room was comfortable. Just note: no parking or breakfast included

    Location and breakfast

Strong chlorine smell at check-in and property needs better attention to maintenance.

    9KenPosted on: 10-10-2025

Enjoyed the location, very helpful staff, and the spa. I walked a 50k day on the camino and the spa was a perfect rest day.

It was in a great location here the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was spacious.

It was no soap in the hand dispenser. Even have to ask the staff to have it filled. We did not have any period for an expensive property. You do expect to have the minimum met.

    I had to leave

Everything, it’s my favourite hotel in Astorga. This was my third stay. Excellent service. Located across from the Gaudi museum. Peaceful quiet room that faced the gorgeous green courtyard with the sound of the birds and a water fountain. Comfy bed and linens, beautiful decor. I even had a bathtub, which is a wonderful boon for a weary pilgrim after a 25km walk. Delicious breakfast included in the price.

The spa and the room was nice. Decent price. Great location.

    The location

No electric kettle in the room for making tea. The staff could not even provide a kettle nor hot water. We where asked to go to the next restaurant to get hot water.

Nice hotel right on the Camino. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Welcomed by staff. Comfort. Bed was fabulous. Bath, glorious bath. Central to sights.

The restaurant was sadly closed - winter, I know - but when so many other restaurants are closed it was disappointing as it is mentioned specifically in their promotional material.

Great location and nice facilities. We had a nice room and enjoyed being able to eat so close by.

We enjoyed everything about our stay.

    Nothing apart from comfortable bed

I booked for the sole reason its name offered a spa…which when u checked in found wasn’t in operation for no reason given. Then when I got to the room there was no coffee machine, no water, no bathrobe , towels were dirty/ marked and the bath was so disgusting with masses of hair all around the drain overflow. I requested another room, to be told the hotel was completely booked out and no other rooms had a bath or balcony. He told me to go with him to a room to get the coffee machine and then told me carry it myself!! The staff member got so fed up with each time I brought each thing to his attention he told me to “find somewhere else to stay”. I’d just walked 32kms on the camino and By this stage it was 7pm and all I wanted was to get into a bath and fall asleep. Eventually, after I cleaned the bath myself as I was desperate to soak my aching body after the long walk and when he eventually bought the bathrobe, it was a used one as it smelt of perspiration. I was too tired to pack my stuff and find somewhere else by this time and fell into bed, knowing I had to be up early the next day to continue on The Camino.

Great location, nice room with small balcony, had a great massage. Well worth 60 Euros.

The pool costs money to use.

The bed was super comfortable, and after a long day of walking, was like heaven. The balcony was a bonus. Very clean. Highly recommended.

Good location near the Cathedral and Gaudi Palace.

Big, sterile hotel with no charm. Very expensive for what you receive. I asked if I could buy a cup of coffee in the morning and was told no, they had too many customers for breakfast. But I was welcome to buy the full breakfast. Fortunately I found a cafe a few doors away where I had a great cafe con leche with a complimentary piece of banana bread for 1.40€.
