    Pros +

    • Charming hotel, lovely room with terrace and view of mountains, staff was friendly and helpful, and quickly addressed my needs. Price value excellent, and a great meal for dinner!
    • The hotel decor is a dated, but it is in good repair, spotlessly clean, the rooms are comfortable and the staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great. I would definitely stay again.
    • Older style hotel but the room had everything you’d need. Location is great and the staff are helpful.

    Cons -

    • Staff not very friendly apart from receptionist , no choice for breakfast which got boring as staying 4 nights
    • The property is a little old and probably needs some updating but you cannot take away the many pluses, cleanliness and staff are extremely important when away from home.
    • The breakfast bar isn't warm with the door open to the terrace and Orgiva is cold in the morning. Thoughtless people slamming habitacion doors without thinking of their neighbours, it is not difficult to close a door quietly.I tried to book direct but no one from the hotel replied.

Great having bar and restaurant downstairs. Good location with short walk into town.

    8HughPosted on: 2-25-2025

Bed was very comfortable, room was large and restaurant was great.

Lovely small hotel in the foothills of the Sierra Nevadas with easy access to the Alpujarras region, a wonderful surprise. Restaurant is a real plus in a town without many options.

All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room had everything we needed. We found the bed very comfortable. The room itself was very clean. I adored the bedside lamps.

The property is a little old and probably needs some updating but you cannot take away the many pluses, cleanliness and staff are extremely important when away from home.

I was very clean and comfortable. The added bedcover in the cupboard was good as it was a bit cold. Added bonus of a restaurante in the hotel and I loved the food. The staff were very friendly.

As a package it's hard to fault, just the odd minor vexation.

The breakfast bar isn't warm with the door open to the terrace and Orgiva is cold in the morning. Thoughtless people slamming habitacion doors without thinking of their neighbours, it is not difficult to close a door quietly.I tried to book direct but no one from the hotel replied.

Comfortable, clean and well located to town at a good price

    10RobertPosted on: 10-18-2024

The wonderful staff (ESPECIALLY the wonderful waitress/Bar tender with the long blond curls and glasses), she was AMAZING ? The room was perfectly basic but the bed was comfy and it had a view up the mountain.

There was nothing l didn’t like about the property, it was great.

Handy location, onsite parking. Good coffee. Lots of potential.

Terraced cafe too often littered, tables uncleaned and slow service. Issues... untidy locals, too few staff and too much single use plastic and paper. Canopy overhead in shreds. It gave the cafe a rather seedy feel. Kitchen exhaust at rear of hotel has pumps out grease? and has blackened a stone wall. It doesn't look good and appears to add to the fly problem at rear. We opened our windows and were plagued with them. I know it's a personal preference but the beds were very hard. Dated decor and furniture, awful painted pictures on walls.

The staff good. Manager helpful. Coffee good.

perhaps a kettle and cups in the room would be good.

Good location to explore the Al Pujaras, nice breakfast, comfortable and trendy room, friendly staff, and good facilities

nothing, may be some more options in the breakfastwifi was slow at times, can be improved

Breakfast was great - waiter very attentive.

    Rooms could have been together.

    7SimonPosted on: 6-26-2024

    nice room

no fridge, you can sit on the balcony, in 31deg temp , and not have a fridge to keep your beers, crazy.

    8DavidPosted on: 6-24-2024

Room and bathroom were well appointed and clean. Restaurant and bar staff were friendly and helpful. The food offering ( breakfast and evening meal) was typically Spanish ,plentiful and well prepared.

This is an unashamedly Spanish Hotel, I wish my Spanish was better.

Room was basic but had everything you needed. Very quiet location with friendly staff. Breakfast was lovely, lots of it with something a little different each day. Ate there a couple of nights, can recommend the smoked salmon salad. Parking always available just outside.

Could have done with a chair in the room.

    7TimPosted on: 6-5-2024

Location is a little out of the town, but the walk is fine. It is right on a busy main road so there is some noise if the window is open. The staff were excellent, really friendly and helpful especially with us arriving as 2 soaked cyclists and a very early morning start.

noise of the road. staff are split between the hotel bar and reception so you need to find them to check in.
