Difficult to find parking

We reserved good service in the reception.The dinner was very good and not expensive. The breakfast was OK.

It is a pleasant hotel in a small town. There is a beautiful castle just above it. It is close to the Motorway. Staff are friendly. The rooms are very large. It is very very quiet.

Breakfast is a bit minimal. The restaurant is a bit pricy for what it has to offer.

Good location for our stay. Hotel was very clean, friendly and helpful staff. Food in the hotel restaurant was very good, easy parking. Good continental breakfast.

The staff were friendly and very helpful, in particular, Yaiza and Nuria. The menu showed which items were available in half portions, and the food was excellent. As I was leaving before breakfast was served, a packed breakfast was made for me

Lovely, spacious comfortable room. All the staff were really friendly. Nice continental breakfast had everything we needed. Location was fantastic - just a short walk from the town center. Free parking available right outside the hotel which was handy! Thank you for a wonderful stay

A brilliant and professionally run hotel. All the staff were uniformed, attentive and friendly. The level of cleanliness was high.Right next door, below the castle of Sax, with brilliant views , particularly at night when it is illuminated.

Friendly efficient staff. Easy access and parking. Fabulous room. Really comfortable bed. Superb bathroom. Fantastic restaurant (best grilled sqid and entrecote steak I have had for years!). I 100% recommend this hotel and restaurant. Even if you don't stay in the hotel you should definitely try the restaurant if you are in Sax.

Too much noise during the noigjht from Spanish customers who did NOT respect the sleep of the other guests .Laughing and talking at 3.30 in the morning for several minutes !The staff at the breakfast was still asleep compared with the ones in the restaurant at the evning before !

Breakfast could be better

This is a lovely hotel, and after 4 weeks of travelling, using different hotels almost every night, it was by far the best. We had a friendly welcome and speedy check-in, and our room was a delight. It was spacious, spotlessly clean, and the huge bed was extremely comfortable. There is an on-site restaurant with a great chef for evening meals. The bathroom too was large and well equipped. The continental breakfast was tasty and plentiful.

After much thought, and being really picky, the only thing I could come up with was that the toilet seat wasn't soft close!

Very clean and modern with all the facilities we needed

The location is spectacular as it is positioned below a medieval castle on the mountain directly above the hotel.

Basic breakfast but what was there was fresh and tasty bar shut when the restaurant is closed

Large clean and comfortable room with balcony under Sax Castle. Very friendly and helpful staff and an excellent meal in the restaurant. Free parking is also provided.

Rooms a little dated

Nice big room and bed.

A bit of a struggle to get tea at breakfast and poor choice of cereal. The yoghurt was not kept in a fridge or cooler and was a bit off.The shower was too high up and not powerful enough. One of the bedside lights did not work.

CLENED HOTEL, ISSUE WITH THE BOOKING, BUT SOLVED AT ARRIVAL PAYING AN ADDITIONAL 40 EURO.THE BREAKFAST IS TOO POOR FOR THE MONEY PAYED.

THE RESTAURANT AT THE HOTEL WAS GOOD ECCEPT FOOD BUT WAITRES AT THE RESTAURANT WERE VERY RUDE AND IMPOLITE. THE CHICKEN WE ORDERED FOR OUR 4 KIDS WAS UNDERDONE AND BURNED OUTSIDE, WHEN WE ASKED TO COOKED MORE BECAUSE IT WAS UNDERDONE, INSTED OF APOLOGISING FOR THE BAD FOOD SERVED, THEY ASK WHICH PIECE WAS UNDERDONE. IMPOLITE AND INCOMPETENT AND ESPECIALLY STUPID, NO OTHER COMMENTS.

This hotel was very friendly, very clean and quiet

Comfortable beds. Shower was ok. Very clean rooms. Really lovely restaurant staff cooked food not on the menu for the children. Parking was not a problem. Very friendly staff made the stop so much better.

We had to book 2 rooms for the 4 of us so it was expensive. One room was huge with an enormous double bed that three of us ended up sleeping in. There was masses of floor space and a great big sofa in there. That should have been a sofa bed like in other hotels. We could have very easily all been in that room. It made it a very expensive stop over. 1 night was enough. There is no reason to stay in Sax although it is clearly trying very hard it is a ghost town. The other room has the nicer shower, so we all used that one. The lighting was poor and the promised view did not live up to expectations.
