Pros +
- The room was nice and clean, the bathroom was clean but not nice at all.
- the facilities (pool, spa, gym) although I didn't have time to use all of them
- Amazing quality for the price considering you have spa & swimming pool access with your stay.Bed are comfortable, firm, but comfortable.Staff was really helpful, specially a young lady with long brown hair and lips pierced. She was very informative & helpful with my mum & myself. The swimming pool was nice, we didn’t use the spa as it was too busy when we went, but nothing to do with the hotel.Location is ideal if you’re driving as you have plenty of parking spaces to park.Theres is a massive shop right on the corner where you can buy nearly anything BUT proper food, but the cafe & restaurant downstairs was more than good enough. We will certainly go back!
Cons -
- Spa? It's a joke, bad joke. One quite small jacuzzi of some older kind, which is only available in the evening (since 18:30). Sauna has no relax area, one small room with only one bench opens directly to the hall. Available since 19:30. Only the swimming pool can be used all day.
- the one major problem that this hotel has: no sound insulation in the walls! If you have bad luck, like I had the first night, you have neighbours and although they are speaking normally and/or have the TV on at normal volume at night, I could hear the conversations through the wall (almost literally word for word) and the TV the same. That, and after my arrival at 6pm and a long drive on a Friday, I wanted a siesta but there were builders hammering in a room nearby. When I called Reception, "they can do nothing about it, will carry on at least another hour, this is normal working hours". In my opinion, if the hotel needs to do noisy maintenance work, they should not rent out adjacent rooms while the work is going on. Fortunately I arrived on Friday for a two night stay, and on Saturday and Sunday the builders were off.
- The location, if you’re relying on public transport I’m not sure if it’s the best, but again, this is not the hotel’s fault! The lack of food supermarkets around, that’s the only thing.

Parking free & easy. Staff @ desk & restaurant were wonderful.
Clean, good facilities, location apart from center was restful
Helpful and friendly staff. Easy access and parking right in front of the hotel (full though at night). Quite large bathrooms, with a window that can be opened.
The shampoo and body washing rations of tetrahedral shape are nearly impossible to open without tools.
Facilities good. Food excellent. Staff genuinely outstanding.
Very friendly welcome with helpful staff. Beautiful hotel with a wonderful pool at and excellent price . The food was lovely in the restaurant too.
Nothing. It was a little way out of town, but taxi service was very efficient and only 10 euros
Easy to get to and from, with an amazing pool and a nice cosy spa
The beds were very squeaky and didn’t feel sturdy
Hotel spar and pool are amazing. Rooms super clean.Staff very friendly and helpful. We would certainly stay here again.
Nothing. We we're happy with everything ?
The spa was great. Especially after our long walks. The room was very clean. The beds a little hard but comfortable. Great stop over on our trip in Northern Spain.
The Town is further away than Booking.com led us to believe. 5 mins!
The pool was wonderful, the spa Jacuzzi was tepid water. Not hot enough for a hot tub. The staff was very friendly and helpful though.
Have stayed here many times and it has never let us down. Clean, comfortable, courteous and very helpful staff, plus great value for money.
Great location with very good facilities coupled with a good price point.
Nothing negative at all.
Ample parking for low season.
Very noisy building. Thin walls, creaky wooden floors.
The location is ok if you are doing the Camino, right at the exit of the city
The walls are extremely thickNeeds some updatesThe bathroom needs some cleaning tooThe sauna is too small and not so clean
hotel location is good
the breakfast is end at10:30 Me and my wife is in the breakfast room at10:23 and the stuff says breakfast is closed at the same time app.10-15 person eat the breakfast in saloon.ı know time is late but breakfast food still in set and saloon is not closed.the stuff behavior is very rude.we sad about this object
We thought that the swimming pool and sunbed area nearby were very welcome facilities. It was warm outside and we enjoyed some time relaxing on a sunbed as well as enjoying a swim in the warm water of the pool. The gym had a fair selection of equipment and changing facilities were clean and had secure lockers. We did not use the spa facilities but we may do this if we return to this hotel (I think that we are likely to return). The hotel staff were welcoming - we spoke with reception staff (took time to explain how the leisure facilities are accessed) and bar staff (very helpful with advice about trying one of the beers). The room was very comfortable and bathroom was nice with a good shower (walk in).We had no problems parking and it was free. The hotel is easily accessed from the highways approaching Lugo - it is located just out of the city.I recommend this hotel if you want to stay in a hotel that has friendly, helpful staff and is comfortable with good leisure facilities.
We are vegetarian, I know that it can be difficult at times to find vegetarian food in Spain but, there was nothing on the menu that we could eat in the evening - we went into the centre of the city to eat. I don't know how breakfast is because we had to leave early to go to Santiago for a flight.
We really enjoyed the pool in the lounge area outdoors. We enjoyed walking on the Camino Primitivo In and out of town and taking the number 10 bus from in front of the hotel to the centre of Lugo for the economic price of €.65. The bus runs twice an hour.
The Jacuzzi was disappointing because the water temperature wasn’t much warmer than the pool, more deck chairs would’ve been appreciated in the lounging area.
Excellent spa pool jacuzzi great breakfast comfy beds. We slept like babies after one night in Leon with no sleep.
