    Pros +

    • Clean, decent size rooms, nice bathroom. Good value for money.
    • First, I’d like to recognize the professionalism, warmth and knowledgeability of your front desk staff. My room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and I appreciated being able to sample dishes, and pastries from the local Galicia region. I also had dinner one evening at the hotel. I ordered the.polpo (octopus), asparagus with sardines and padron peppers (seasonal.) The quality, presentation and taste were excellent. To my pleasant surprise, it was one of my favorite meals while in Spain. Location is a convenient 6-7 mins walk to the entrance of the historic area - very convenient. Definitely recommend this hotel.
    • It’s very nice

    Cons -

    • Restaurant opens in the hotel were poor, but the old town is not far away, and there are plenty of options within the old town.
    • There were some noisy guests on my floor opening and letting doors slam shut at 6am on a Sunday morning. If there was a way for the hotel to ensure the doors have a “soft” close and can’t swing shut, that would be a welcome change.
    • There was a sewer smell throughout the hotel. The room was very flowery smelling from too much spray. Maybe to cover up other odors.

    Nothing!

Gorgeous hotel and very friendly staff. The lobby feels like a luxury hotel.

Main restaurant was reserved for a big group of tourists and we couldn’t have dinner there. It was Sunday and not much nearby was open.

Juan Carlos was very helpful with our kate nite checkin

location was ok and close to city walls but not many restaurants nearby for someone who has mobility issues

Great location to start Camino, rooms were modern and clean, staff super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was amazing. Would definitely recommend.

Front desk hosts were very helpful in giving directions and advice, in English. Good breakfast with large variety of local foods.

Fabulous hotel five minutes walk from the centre of lugo. The staff were super friendly and welcoming. Our rooms were wonderful. Comfortable beds, great bathrooms, really spacious and so clean. The concierge gave us great information and suggested a fantastic restaurant for dinner. Breakfast was extensive and great quality. We loved lugo and adored this hotel.

The Eurostars Grand Hotel in Lugo is very nice, modern, clean, well organized. The staff was efficient and helpful. We did not have a tea kettle in our room, but the receptionist quickly solved this issue and the kettle was promptly delivered to us. The room was spacious and sufficiently furnished. The beds were comfortable and clean. The view from the window was good. The location of this hotel is superb - close to the ancient Roman wall, which was one of the main goals of our trip to Lugo. The breakfast was excellent and very tasty. We parked our car right at the entrance door. Elevators were very convenient for moving our luggage

We liked everything about this hotel.

The Eurostars Grand Hotel Lugo is a lovely hotel. The staff was helpful and the rooms clean and comfortalble.Beds were very nice. Nice to have a breakfast available, but expensive for what it was.

Parking garage expensive. I think breakfast could have been included.

nice room, location: ~7min walk to Old Town

noisy location (street noise), problems with parking (hotel parking is small), overpriced!

    9KennethPosted on: 10-17-2024

Location was perfect for the old town and San Froilan festival.

Kitchen doesn't open until 8pm and Cafe/Bar closes at 11pm.

    9HalinaPosted on: 10-17-2024

Rooms and bed very comfortable! Quite luxurious. Good breakfast but dining facilities in the evening were limited and understaffed. Would still recommend. Good, central location.

    7RobertPosted on: 10-16-2024

    Comfy bed, clean. Spacious room.

Although this older building has been obviously updated, the place still feels dated and gloomy. Poor service at the Gran Cafe. Not in a great neighborhood. Underground garage was very cramped, hard to maneuver into any parking spot.

    9MichaelPosted on: 10-15-2024

Very fancy hotel with helpful staff. It's in a great location just a short walk from Lugo's old town. Lovely bathroom and room. I loved the antique furniture placed around the ultramodern lobby.

We could not control the temperature in the room. It was much too warm, even sleeping with the windows open. The thermostat seemed to be purely for decoration.

    10CamilliaPosted on: 10-11-2024

    Very nice breakfast. Good lication

Hotel was excellent but there isn’t much to do or see in the city.

    10KatherinePosted on: 9-30-2024

The staff were very courteous and helpful, Ruben was able to give us information about the city and gave us a map. The room was lovely and the beds were very comfortable. Very convenient for the city. Secure parking.

The garage was a little tight to manoeuvre a larger car.

we should have stayed another night

    9JudyPosted on: 9-24-2024

Very clean and modern. Rooms were lovely. Front desk was very helpful. A ways from the Camino and the old city. Nice cafes nearby and a great breakfast in the morning!

Bolt on our door didn’t lock.
